  1. Regarding level 17: Most of us got the below average or insufficient to cover to production costs, the keyword here being "or".

When it comes to economic variables, a lot more than half the people are usually below average (think income). Theoretically, one person could've bid 100000£ and put everyone but himself below average.

I really hope my 69£ bid at least covers the production costs though...

Kind of unclear instructions, but e-mailed a bid/guess anyway...

Mostly interested in the BluRay, but a t-shirt is nice, and hopefully the "Mystery format" is something I can play back (DVD?).

  3. For those of us not buying vinyl it may turn out to be a good Legowelt summer ahead:

  4. Anybody out there bought the WAVs of Nomad Ninja from Bandcamp? Are they 24-bit/48kHz like the Skunkape soundtrack? I'm thinking about ordering the CD, but if the files are a higher res, I might go for those instead.

Bought the FLACs, I assume they're the same. Track 1 is 24/48, the rest are 16/44.1.

  5. For all of you Legowelt enthusiasts out there, here's his discography, including all aliases, in an excel spreadsheet so it can be sorted (it's by year currently). It also includes sites where the music can be purchased from in digital format. I geeked out a couple of months ago and made this up. Please let me know if I'm missing anything. Since last May when I first heard his stuff, I've become a huge fan. For those uninitiated, I would recommend Amiga Railroad Adventures and Twilight Moose as two of the finest electro albums I've heard--I hadn't been as excited about new music since hearing Drexciya for the first time years ago. One of his newest albums, Saab Knutson, is some of the best ambient music I've heard and deserves some serious listening and discussion. It's going to take me years to catch up with his output, but I've been buying/listening to just about nothing else since May.

Well, just discovered that I can't upload excel files as attachments. Can anyone recommend a way to make this available, just in case anyone out there is interested?

Upload as a zip? Or maybe as a public download on Dropbox (or equivalent)?

  6. I made this Spotify playlist for tracks he released under other names than Legowelt. I think a lot of it is also available on bandcamp.

  7. It appears to me that the goal of the Kickstarter should've been set lower, with 30 000$ as a stretch goal. As much as I want this to happen, I honestly don't think the chances are that good...

Seems to be possible for this to happen even if 30 000$ isn't reached:

"We have several options of sites, depending on how much is raised (see example photos). Somewhere between £3,000 and £30,000 should secure what we have in mind. But there’s no limit to what we could share."
