Figured I’d get a thread going for this. VHS Head has been hinting at something new coming hopefully in the next few months. Not sure if our world collapsing is going to postpone this, I certainly hope not. He is one of my favorite artists with a flawless output.

Last time I was wary of a new Orbital record it was Wonky which turned out to be good, so this could still be fine. But... 1. Ringa Ringa (The Old Pandemic Folk Song) (feat. The Mediaeval Baebes) 2. Day One (feat. Dina Ipavic) 3. Are You Alive? (feat. Penelope Isles) 4. You Are The Frequency (feat. The Little Pest) 5. The New Abnormal 6. Home (feat. Anna B Savage) 7. Dirty Rat – With Sleaford Mods 8. Requiem For The Pre Apocalypse 9. What A Surprise (feat. The Little Pest) 10. Moon Princess (feat. Coppe) Almost all vocal tracks? Not sure about this at all. All bundles come with a limited edition bonus CD, but there's no word on what it con…

Releases January 20, 2023, via https://threeop.bandcamp.com/ & https://tsrono.bandcamp.com/album/vale Lost in a wooden thicket Surrounded by mist and fog The foliage is dense Reflections glimmer on the pool In this realm there is ebb and flow Echoes of all that has come to pass Premonitions of what is yet to be At the intersection of then, now, and beyond You are in the vale We are all in the vale --- I've had the pleasure to listen to tsrono's work for years now. It's the work of a kindred spirit that constantly inspires me. And it's some of the lushest, most atmospheric, and skillfully varied electron…

GOTO002: 17th February 2023. William Fields, the electronic musician working in areas of algorithmic composition and improvisation, makes his debut on GOTO with “Fictions”. Continuing a slew of releases across labels such as Superpang, Tokinogake and Conditional, “Fictions” is a perfect slice of Fields’ computer music – never robotic, constantly shifting and, at times, straight up jazzy. Fields is keen to state that these pieces are performed, with several of the tracks taken directly from public live appearances. Nevertheless, each composition retains structure and familiarity, both somewhat rarities in the majority of music made via similar processes. The eight tra…

https://schematicmusiccompany.bandcamp.com/album/love-traxx-vol-1 Been following ghostwerk for a while and think he's super underrated. I'm just getting through this right now but it seems super chill. I would also recommend Shadow Function+ which still gets a lot of plays from me after having it for a few years https://schematicmusiccompany.bandcamp.com/album/shadow-function

New EP from Rrose - of the three preview tracks available, we get a proper techno banger and two hypnotic droning synth excursions. Had to buy this instantly - excited to hear the remaining tracks in a few weeks.

Superb new album from hard techno stalwarts Iesope Drift after over 25 years of silence. I went above and beyond in the late 1990s so that I could get my hands on everything they released back then, and now their approach has mellowed out and this new album is much more mature, exchanging brute force to more thought-out expression and experimentation, making this album more IDM in contrast to the dark warehouse belters from beyond the millennium. Extremely highly recommended.

1. ‘H.O.M.E' 2. ‘Why Can You Be In Two Places At Once When You're Not Anywhere At All' 3. ‘A Ghetto Love Story' 4. ‘Picking Tea Leaves & Chasing Butterflies' 5. 'Tiger' 6. ‘Dragon Of The Oceans' 7. ‘The Beginning Of The End' 8. ‘Living In Recycled Times' 9. ‘Prism On ‘Prism’, released 28th April via Cooking Vinyl, The Orb’s pulsating discography grows ever more huge, with their 18th album, and 3rd helmed by core duo Alex Paterson and Michael Rendall. Despite the connotations of its title, here they continue to rollick freely without inhibition across ambient, house and dub, but also tangent into poetry, pop, full-blown drum ‘n’ ba…
