When i get those 3480 tracks, i can finally leave the outside world. Or just soundtrack my moves through it with a 4000-odd aphex song playlist on shuffle, until I shuffle off this mortal 08 coil. Let's get back on topic quick; Where the F are 7 Lush Slow Blips and Forgotten T on the list of most voted for SC tracks?! Listened to these on the way to work this morning and they're insanely, amazingly beautiful. Always have them as go to tracks when I want some expansive afx .............. filling my ears. Know what I'm saying?! Sorry, Joyrex ;) Looking in the 'vote for your favourite tracks' thread, "something's happening..." must be the new "new shit is imminent..." Sorry for the (relatively) long post, "'cool story bro' type" meme fans ;)

Is the imminence becoming so grandiloquent as to overshadow its own preeminence, or is our level of reverence still entirely legitimate? ;) Edit: I know, it's totally still legitimate.

It's a fun thing to get obsessive about :) And throws a new light on some of the stuff released around the same time. All the tracks from the Ventolin era, with the same sound palette, made me go back to the EPs. Boy, did I sleep on the Coppice and Crowsmengegus mixes. More fool me.

Why does erryone have it on good authority that new shit is imminent, then nothing happens? ppl lying?! Ha, jus looking forward to that fully mastered shit now it's been mentioned. Has anyone ever had a go at putting the entire SC tracks in chronological order (to best of known dates)? Thought it might be interesting to try... and mebbe include official releases too, to hear the all-stars emerge from the drafts, sketches and squad players. Apologies if this has already happened in extensive forum coverage of topic ;)

Well yes, thanx apex for so much amazing soundcloud music and fun! I hope it came to a natural end and wasn't a case of taking the ball home because he didn't want to play with the kids who disagreed with him. I've listened to tracks off Syro almost every day since it came out, and, in my opinion, knowing what's coming next adds another layer of pleasure to the tracks on that album. Haven't listened like that since I was 16 or 17 and carried around a CD player in my coat pocket, when I was out and about, with I Care Because You Do loaded in it, and was happy to listen to that alone & explore every detail of every track. I look forward to doing the same with the SC dump. And, wobbling off topic, the animal mutilation cases worldwide genuinely add up to an interesting mystery for me now. All the other conspirisy theory stuff was a bit... hmm, it doesn't matter... I'm happy to enact the TWIN towers archetype in the the aphex TWIN soundcloud until JessCortes (JC initials no coincidence) reveals herself to be a 50,000 year old alien overlord from Atlantis. ;)
