    I've been watching Vietnam vet historical record kind of docs and the way they have been treated is awful. Especially when they came back. There was a draft. They had no choice. It was like a prison sentence and to be spat upon or refused drinks at a bar. I can't believe we did that to them. I wasn't born but we as a people

    A former assistant Prospect police chief sent numerous racist messages to a Louisville Metro Police recruit, including one that said if he caught black juveniles smoking marijuana, he should shoot them.

     

    Todd Shaw sent the “highly disturbing racist and threatening Facebook messages” to the recruit, according to a letter Jefferson County Attorney Mike O’Connell sent to Prospect Mayor John Evans. Shaw, who had previously worked 20 years as a Louisville officer, was suspended, then fired, last year from the Prospect force.

     

    O’Connell told Evans that while Shaw and the recruit were discussing a training scenario in which the recruit was to write a paper on "the right thing to do" if he caught three juveniles smoking marijuana, Shaw stated: "Fuck the right thing. If black shoot them.” Shaw, instructing the recruit how to handle parents of a juvenile caught smoking pot, wrote: “If mom is hot then fuck her. If dad is hot then handcuff him and make him suck my dick. Unless daddy is black. Then shoot him."

    Considering selling my gear. Life is punching me in the dick as far as time goes these days. Work all day, deal with kids when I get home. No weekend because I’m watching the little ones while the wife works. Meanwhile, I hate not learning these machines, and just watching them collect dust. What am I saving them for - an imaginary time 5 years from now when I’ll have more time, but more powerful synths will be available to gas for instead? Moments from folding and accepting life is 15 minutes of Netflix before passing out, and any music making can be relegated to iPhone apps while on the shitter.

    keep them in the attic for when you retire  :smile:
