I fucking suck
Been playing lots of LOL lately myself.
I'm decent though. Haven't gotten to 30 yet so not playing ranked matches.
I never realized how many play LOL. I started up recently but I'm up to 500 wins normal; don't really touch ranked because it seems to be a shitshow. I developed a core team of friends that I play with every night, it makes the game a lot better. Mid or feed.

I've been playing Cart Life for the most of the day.
It's quite depressing, and really fascinating.
I wouldn't mind giving it a try. I just finished what's been released of Papers Please which has a lot of potential for such a simple idea.

lol, I got a friend who only plays second life, and all he does is troll people like that video above. I actually recognize that guys voice who is freaking out. Sometimes I listen in, and get some great samples of people talking for real. All the voice samples I used on a recent album were from second life. Great place to capture some emotion.

I still listen to Kphanapic a lot. Really glad Digital Music turned out the way it did.

Started the new Devil May Cry. I love the combat, but I struggle using a mouse and keyboard to find the right key bindings to bring some sort of fluidity to the whole thing. I'm not very far but it's been fun, looking forward to the second half where it shines apparently.
Perhaps join the 21st century and use a controller?
Or you know, I could just spend some more time getting the muscle memory instilled while saving some money.

I preferred The Pacific but both were quite excellent.
I wasn't aware of the existence of The Pacific until a friend of mine mentioned it the other day, I plan to watch that after I finish this current run of BoB
I watched The Pacific when it originally aired, and after watching BOB religiously every three months or so, The Pacific just doesn't compare. I didn't feel as invested in the characters or the storylines, some of the acting fell flat and the cinematography just wasn't there. It's still a great series but my expectations were too high going into it.

I love playing League of Legends. I found the coolest bunch of kids I play with every night, but playing solo-random is great too.
Maybe it's because I'm playing just normal games, but lately the team mates I get seem to be wearing their Sunday best clown shoes. Ez jungle, twitch and garen top, everyone mid, etc. I'm all for stupid compositions, but after four 20 minute games it would be nice to get a proper game. I still haven't dived into the depths of ranked yet. I have no idea how that will go.

I don't regret saving the Geth (and losing all the quarians). I regret saving the Korgans. Fuck the Korgans, and fuck Liara. Liara I never loved you, you're boring. I just wanted my achievement.
If you guys haven't tried it I highly suggest the Leviathon DLC.

Naw, but I listened to the Giantbomb podcast where they get pretty heavily into the ending and the differences between the shipped and extended cuts. I did watch the extended/extra endings afterwards, but it didn't really change much for me. Christ, that Buzz Aldrin scene was depressing. I did get the Leviathan and From Ashes DLC, which helped fill a lot of gaps in the story and made the story a lot more enjoyable.
I wonder if they had actually planned that DLC before they shipped the final game or if it was just something they put together to make their game make more sense.
But yeah, like Brad said it seems like he had a better gaming experience than people who played the game when it came out back in March.
And holy shit, I had completely forgotten everything about Buzz Aldrin telling the story of Shepard... god damnit, that was stupid.

Brad talks about the game was likely EA'd; rushed out the door. I would imagine Bioware planned some sort of expansion when they were told to finish the game; but it would be released as a DLC package and still remain true to the original ending overall.

Just finished Mass Effect 3. I didn't quite understand why people hated the ending so much, until I watched all the other endings and realized just how rushed the whole thing was. I didn't play the first two games, but I could understand how players would feel shorted on that as the ending to a long spanning trilogy.
Still playing League of Legends, predominately as an AP mid. Still need a few more champs before I can start doing ranked but

I really dislike this guy. 'Check out my youtube channel. It has all your usual ADD riddled, reference packed videos but it's totally on another level because I'm sharing my entry level ideas backed with lazy research'. That's four videos I have watched from him, and they're always mundane.

yeah, im having a lot of fun with it too. hey, do you have crashing problems? i play for like 20 mins and the game crashes to desktop for me.Playing PlanetSide 2. Pretty cool.
I just tried it and it did nothing for me. I think because I was really drunk, and in my mind had this idea of large scale battles but all that happened was repeatedly getting spawn camped, spawning too far away, getting frustrated with the convaluted menu system. Might give it another try but does nothing for me (still a damn good free game).

Not totally true, not all games will take advantage of both screens, but yeah still too early to tell. The system does have the portable screen going for it; which apparently runs extremely well. Basically, as long as you can plug the system into a power outlet, you can walk around with the controller and play where ever you want. Streaming real time video wirelessly like that without any lag seems like a pretty major technological achievement to me at least. Too bad the gimmick of having the most powerful handheld on house arrest isn't worth personally.

but at the same time having more bullets in a gun than technically possible or a dial tone coming up on a phone when someone hangs up or a car exploding after crashing are all things that exist in 'movie logic'. Having the remains of a major character totally disappear with no clear explanation is totally not the same thing
When I started watching the series I was hoping it wouldn't fall into another horror that demanded such a huge suspension of disbelief, I was wrong. It feels like they have pushed their limits within movie logic a number of times, even regarding plot points; I've just learned to go with it. You're right, the Lori thing is a pretty major fuck up. The only explanation I could come up with is that the time to turn is different for everyone; and it's possible that Lori hadn't begun to turn when the zombie found/ate her.

Halo 4 multiplayer right now. Level 30 or something; haven't done much spartan ops. It's not too bad, but wanting the multiplayer from Halo 3, I'm disappointed.
Started Fez. Looking to work my through that.
Still playing League of Legends. Terrible community, great game.
Black Ops 2 is surprisingly good so far.
I hear they did some fresh things with the series; at least avoided the traditional single player on rails type of stuff. I don't think I can invest myself into another COD game though.

Last time I did this, it evolved into searching for plane crashes. From there, I was brought to and completed this list of blackbox recordings/transcripts pulled from crashed planes. Links in the first coloumn are audio recordings. I guess it's morbid but interesting none the less.

I started playing League of Legends because it looked solid mechanically, and is free to play. I never knew this game had such a huge following/world wide presence. I guess it's because I never paid attention to any RTS games. I'm hooked though, slowly learning my way around the game as legitimate players start free fresh accounts to harass and beat newcomers like myself. One thing that bothers me is team dependency; having one or two players on your team that struggle usually precludes any idea of winning; forcing you to eat shit for the next 45 minutes.
