    No digital???

sorry but seriously F no digital :shrug::catrage::catnope::nope:

Not for now, but you're getting that digital from me eventually.

    Awesome, I will pay you!

What we'll do is have the vinyl first, and then later on there will be digital available on my own bandcamp. Can't set a date yet, it depends on how quick they go..

    Fah the workingman's friend.

What can I say, I like giving people something special through vinyl but also can't leave out my peeps who just want the digital.

Fahz0r oh my Fahz0r, will the digital version of the LCTR albums ever be available ? Will buy them in a heartbeat (as well as the ones this thread is about of course). The 4 Patronen volumes are personal favorites, the limited edition is lovely, but I always go for the FLACs.

We sorted Teal Ranger digital version out just a day a go, I'll be curating a proper digital version (that's ++special tracks)

  2. I think "Surrender" was the first CD I ever legit bought with my own (pocket) money, I remember walking home with it proudly in my hand like it was a vinyl record hehe..

"Hoops" from their album after that is actually still one of my favorites, I think as a kid this was the first time sound set off a visual reaction that still makes me think I was hallucinating.. It's really kind of a strange sounding track to me.

  3. For now, I am not certain if this will be available digitally any time soon as the label is actually vinyl only.. Apologies if I made it sound like it was going to be there for sure.

However, this CAN happen when the records pretty much sell out, as I personally then don't see why the record should just stop being available apart from to 300 people on the planet. But anyway I want to sort this properly with my mates from Sleepers :) so, stay patient !

    ...so, stay patient !

Or, inquire a friend who has a copy

    (wink nudge)

Ah cool! I added this to my wish list in discogs a while back...there was a track on one of Fundamental Records 808 boxes, I think? Good stuff!! Would love a bandcamp release. Has it sold out on Juno or just not available yet?

Digi downloads will eventually come from my bandcamp (ie when sold out) but i'll have some download codes for u lads <3

That's excellent news! Do you have plans to do more with this side project? I for one would love to hear some more as the tracks on this EP are quality!

Yes for sure there is more coming

Made all my Patronen albums available again as PWYW digital on bandcamp, with a slight digital remaster. Do still consider grabbing the vinyl if you get the chance !

    Awesome!

Not sure why you put everything on "name your price" though.

That's what they were to begin with, also didn't make sense to let people who bought the vinyl buy the digitals again.. too lazy to faf around with limited download codes etc etc. It's there, enjoy!

  8. Nice one! Many many thanks, man.

PS: would you mind sharing what reverb were you using on those tracks? Especially on Schlaf, the trails sound beautiful. Also, I found out that Earthquaker Devices' Rainbow Machine pedal makes exactly that crazy effect in Magie. Did you use that? Cheers!

From what I remember I've used mostly Alesis nanoverb and microverb III a lot, on Schlaf specifically I've also used a DP-2 with depth control via CV.. Magie also uses the DP-2 for that weird effect, it's a feedback pitch echo effect i've programmed on there.

  9. Nice one Fah! Top move, finally bypassing the Alek Monopoly on good tunes :) I'll definitely be grabbing C&D. I actually just put A&B on my phone again a few days ago, been enjoying them in the train just before reading this.

    :music:

In all honesty I'm doing this in agreement still with Alek, I do not want to step on his perspective of the music and the way he wanted to present it. We both wanted to turn it into a piece of art and definitely in the way that I know only Alek can do, and then at the end of the chapter just make it available again like me and Cygnus did on Biosoft. Though it took a while but there you go, it's going to be there for anyone who prefers digitals, as well as anyone who wants a digital version to go with their copies. Apologies we just didn't make them available earlier !

Ah I see! Thought that never really worked very well, or any usb recording device for that (my studio desk has a USB output and it's rubbish). But perhaps they've come a long way by now so the quality is better?

It's not bad I suppose, but I won't be hesitating to double-dip if you put flacs up on your bandcamp!

Yeah FLACs are going to be there, assuming those are standard on bandcamp along with WAV and MP3 320

  11.

    Fah: !?

Have the 4 vinyles. Have the FLACs off the Biosoft initial A/B release. Damn I'd love to have the files of the whole series digitally... I've also listened to the SC stream countless times.

Ps: not a vinyle collector either, I just wanted to have a copy of the music.

Well, figured that since a lot of people really do also want digital, I'd soon make them available for those who would like to take it on the road with them. Or simply for those who don't want to pay for the vinyl or don't like vinyl, can't play vinyl, etc.. Even those who went through painstaking hours of recording them to digital.
Yes, this last one is me....worth it in the end though so I can listen to them while working at my desk or out in the car! These are top tunes, and it's great to finally know who it is behind them!

    Thanks Fah!!!

:) Just out of interest; what is your process of recording vinyl to digital?

    I use one of these:

  14. All tracks compiled here have been created around 2004-2006 for various projects; Fahcid, EAP (004 and 019) and Acid Split Tape, also including a couple rare and never released tracks meant for any of these projects. Because all these tracks were made under a different standard they had to be dug up from the depths of several backup caves and restorated to some point because software, version differences and migration never really works very well together. So consider a few of the tracks being slightly altered, but all of them have been re-levelled and restorated, and then remastered.
Acid Split Cassette (With Impakt): Love 1, Love 2, Untitled 4, Gasoline Acid, Dooey, Gf, Untitled 4.
EAP004 & 019: Erickx Blew A Fuse, Dreikammer, Fahcid, EAP Acid 1, EAP Acid 2, Twenty Six Acid, Twenty Nine Acid.
Fahcid: Casey's Goodbye Cauldron, Lost Acid, This Here Eggo, Lcox 1, Lcox 2, Lcox 3, Untitled 1, Untitled 2, Gass Blecher, Glass Becher, Coracid Speed Acid Sequence 1, Coracid Speed Acid Sequence 2, Cashual, None Of My Friends Can Dance.
Unreleased/Rare: Aet, Binslotch, Beach Dave, Black Acid, Eagou, Lcox A, Our Acid, Untitled 3.
