    if people don't realize that Trump is just a symptom of a general backlash against overly-dogmatic progressive PC bullshit that's kind of on them

     

    not gonna mince words. it's kind of been a long time coming. that's just my take on it

     

    saw this coming a very, very, very long time ago and people bashed me. i warned everyone i knew and they told me i was a bad person. could have been easily prevented by not trying so hard to repress ideas you don't totally agree with

    identity politics has literally destroyed society. it's hard to believe how bad it has gotten.

    Trolling or not, I've never understood this position. How and why has it been destroyed? Surely globalism has much more to blame for exporting jobs and leaving communities in tatters?

    I think it's pretty clear that bringing identity to the fore of every single issue is causing people to entrench themselves in their respective identity-based tribes.

     

    Like, if you wanna convince someone that you and them are different in an important and fundamental way, well don't be surprised if they take your word for it.

    I can't imagine what about my post would make you think of 'thought-crime'

     

     

     

    EDIT: If you watch documentaries about the Rwandan genocide, the Hoodoos or whatever talk about how it was like a madness slowly came over the entire population. A darkness. And it was egged on by the media, and the radio. The people on the radio. It was like this disease, some kind of mass disease - of the mind - was spreading throughout the population. And people went from sane to completely insane. And people never thought it could happen.

     

    But these things do really happen. They happen. And people never expect it. They think, "oh, we won't have that happen here." And then it does. And it seems like everyone is involved. That includes you. Everyone on this page. We all play a role in whether shit gets better or worse. We all play our part. And when shit gets BAD, we're all playing our part too. We're all responsible. We're all involved with these things. When bad things happen, every side is responsible. It's not just the left or the right. It's something deeper inside of us, that part of ourselves that says "eh, it's OK. you're human! I forgive you!" - when you lose that, you've lost everything. And as far as I can tell, the "progressive left" is fundamentally 100% as guilty of losing that as absolutely anyone else. If you can't even look in the mirror and question your own actions and say "maybe we're dehumanizing people with the way we talk about them" - like talking about 'white men' and shit... you don't realize that's what is driving people to feel hate and to embrace this DISEASE of thinking and PUSH it even further.

     

    And who is egging it on? The fucking TV. Just like in Rwanda. It's all being PUSHED. And the only way to stop it is to say NO and stop fucking involving yourself in it with the shit you do.

    From yesterday's listen I felt the same way about spaces how V that someone previously mentioned. Seems to be an epilogue to Nodezsh. Super chill vibezzzz on elseq5.

     

    To add some buzzkill to the discussion, the one I was least into upon yesterday's complete playthrough was elseq3. Would maybe work better if eastre and mesh cinereaL swapped positions? As it is you have 29minute build up to mesh cinereaL.

    This was a listen while walking with headphones though, possibly elseq3 is more suited to sat-on-arse listening.

    It was definitely sort of like the part of the movie where the character goes into a coma and is wandering around in some alternate universe.

    Watched the first few episodes a couple nights ago.

    I was kind of "eh" about it.

     

    Finished House of Cards.

     

    Found myself randomly thinking about this show and noticed that my feelings were positive.

     

    Decided to watch episode 4.

     

    Feelings positive. I am actually surprised how good it is.

    godfather 3 - not sure how I slept on this for so long. 9/10, great gangster movie, underrated and well worth watching. sure, weak acting at parts, sure, not as fully developed as the others... or is it? why the fuck is this so panned? it was a great film to watch, highly entertaining, a few weak parts but I think actually maybe godfather 2 is a little overrated and this is a little underrated.

    oh fuck off already, you haters. if Alex Patterson isn't responsible for the Orb albums being what they are, then fuck him. I want to reward the person who made those incredible classic electronic albums, not some fucking cunt, with my money

    any dipshit who doesn't care that the MAKERS of the records are the ones being compensated are, frankly, clueless pieces of shit

     

    to be fair the orb probably can be considered a crossing of different elements

     

    i just find it disturbing to think that the people who are really responsible for those albums might not be the ones my money went to. if I could I would put 50$ or more just directly in their pockets in the form of a donation, I would do the same for other artists I like. better than the 3 dollars they get from the 1 7 dollars album I buy of theirs ever 5 years
