Haven't read the thread...
The really long track that starts at 1:17:30 is by far my favourite. It's straight power all the way through, but is simultaneously silly, somehow? Reminds me a lot of Untilted, in a very good way.
Also, has anyone mentioned that the track starting at 18:45 sounds like a Vose In remix? I haven't compared it side by side with Vose In yet, so I'm not 100% on whether the chords are exactly the same, but they sure sound that way.

I spent 30 bucks in a restaurant and left starving.

why can't just one of these cunts running for president come out as an atheist, even progressive Jill Stein tip toes around the question wtf come on america its time to evolve
ii thought obama was going to come out as atheist during his second turn, the guy still goes to church looool what a joke this guy is too smart to believe in that shit, what is he doing?????
church is pretty lush minus the dogma. Like, it's so serious and shit and everyone speaks and sings in unison. Sometimes you drink wine and shit. like, I can understand just going. It's what squares do instead of going to concerts or something.
IDM as fuck

I just spilled chicken-water on my socks. Ewww!

If you move in with your best friends, you might grow to hate them. Don't worry, that's normal, and can't always be helped. You can cross that bridge when you come to it.
My biggest tip would be don't let your diet go to shit when you move out. It's harder to cook good meals for a smaller group of people, so you'll have to look into recipes that work. If you share meals with your roomie it might be easier.
Other than that it's pretty straight forward.

I'm planning to moving out from parent's house.
My FWP: I don't know how to move out from my parent's house.
Anyone has some tips for doing it? All I know I need is enough and stable income.
Probably get a job. Got any leads?

I wanted to start the MOST IDM poll, so I bought an EKT subscription, but it hasn't taken effect yet and Joyrex hasn't checked his messages yet

canada is officially legalizing marijuana next year. little stoned birdie told me.
BC has never sounded so appealing.
Cost of living there is insane.
I live in San Francisco...
Yeah, having originally come from Victoria/Vancouver area I can corroborate that BC prices are nowhere near this insane... It's just stupid down here. Lucky to live in a below market-rate situation here though, otherwise I wouldn't bother.
It depends how much you're earning. The cost of living is much higher in San Francisco, but so is the median income. Vancouver is less expensive in absolute cost, but more so relative to its median income.

I grated some cheese for my omelet, but I forgot about it and finished my omelet without it.
So now here I am eating plain grated cheddar for dessert like some kind of simpleton.

I usually fall asleep around the 40 minute mark and wake up filled with regret.

Did I post this before? Can't remember if I did? Anyway, I'm doing the sound design this video game.
Awesome work!

I want to move into a bigger place, but I live in fucking Vancouver

For the first time in my life I actually felt the tremor of an earthquake, and it turned on the light in my bedroom, which I thought had been burnt out for over a year (yes, I am that lazy). The FWS in there is that an earthquake fixed my light bulb, and now I have the option of light in my bedroom.
Nice.
I didn't feel it, but it did cause some boxes to fall over in my house. I blamed it on a cat, and yelled at the cat a bit :(

FWP: mastering a 22 track indie compilation where no two recordings are anywhere near the same sonic ballpark. it's madness I tells ya! (don't worry watmm, it's not you --the "most IDM" comps are always remarkably consistent.)
I was kind of hoping for a random grab bag or genres, just to see how that would work. But as always it wound up being cohesive :P. (fwp)

Having a cat that whines incessantly until you wake up to feed it helps. That's what changed me from a sleep-in-til-noon guy to a begrudgingly get up at 9am guy. Now I fall asleep during the shows/movies I watch at night. I miss the old me.
The glamorous life of cat ownership can be filled with regret, I know.

I was picturing an outdoorsy couple returning home in life jackets for a marathon fuck.
lol, me too
This is what I pictured:
I had to say goodbye to my cat for the last time tonight. He's been by best friend for as long as I can remember, so I can't imagine what it's going to be like without him. It certainly will not be the same.
Really sorry dude. That sucks

There's one line from one song off Nirvana's Bleach that keeps getting stuck in my head because when I'm talking I'll say a sequence of words that has the same melody. I don't even know the name of the song, but it's the only one that shares this particular melody i keep muttering inadvertently. Maybe it's not an FWP because I like whatever song it is.... but it keeps happening and I wanted to mention it somewhere, and it's not a first world success because I can't recall the song title. Bonus points to anyone who can guess the song.
listen to the album and report back
I'm voting on Floyd the Barber
I just skimmed through a few times over and couldn't find the bit! it's maddening now.... What the hell song is that?? It's on one word, four notes, first and third note are the same, top note and bottom note are a tritone apart. it's a very unique melodic way of ending the line. Might be the most original vocal melody sequence in a Nirvana song. I can't think of anything to compare it to.
Definitely record yourself singing it so we can crowdsource this
Haha, I'd only make a fool of myself... I don't actually know what word he's singing, it's a really awkward note combo to nail, and he kind of yell-sings it. You'd just have my voice going "uuuUUUUuuu-uhhhh!" in a warbled incoherent mess. I guess that would be fun, but I'm not nearly proactive enough to record and post it.
Nirvana? Never.
Actually, since you mentioned that you were transplanting every day phrases onto this melody, I was kinda hoping you'd record that :P.

Salvatorin has made a kickass ASCII version of my avatar which I am using now
But it turns out most of the people for some reason keep using the terrible Syro forum theme which is rather dark, and makes my avatar nearly invisible because it's transparant especially in chatmm
change your theme, think of the avatar
And come on, that badger pic is cringey now. Why is it still there?
Changed for you. Man, glad to be rid of that horrid theme. I dunno why I kept it.

gonk steady one is like the epic sequel of Ipacial Section and irlite (get 0).
Powerful, frantic, nonstop rhythm paired with heaps of whimsey.
