I want my child to be born into a room with a huge stereo system playing Sublimit as loud as possible

I would get that tattoo removed. It's just way too and the cover of Draft needs to be black, grey, and white. Otherwise it just looks like some asshole scribbled on your arm/leg/lower back/whatever. Honesty is the best policy you know?
Duly noted. I always take opinions from strangers seriously and I'm scheduling my removal right now.
fucking lol
a few months ago, i told my 3 year old son that autechre is music made by robots. yesterday we were talking about robots and he says "AWEDECKER?" i then said... word!
This is awesome! You are doing the lord's work my friend. I think fairly often about what it would be like to show my kids Autechre (when[ever] I have any). If you have some other funny stories involving showing your son Ae do tell!

i think it has about 4. if you had the cd you'd know it comes with like 4 or 5 different covers printed on separate pieces of card. i don't know if this is the same with the vinyl version.
I want the CD. I can't decide which cover I like the most either.
Holy shit yeah man the CD comes with the big standard cover that mesh posted at the top of this page, but there are stiff cardboard inserts with 6 different pics of the same style.
Its awesome because you can change the cover to whatever one you want as they are all separate cards.

On my recent trip to Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Me and my girlfriend decided to get tattoos done. Browsing through their catalogues of usual motives of skulls etc. I wondered. And then remembered wouldn't it be cool to have the ae logo. Decided. Whilst getting it done I got the tattooist (who also dug electronic music) to hook my mp3 up to his laptop so I could listen to Autechre whilst gettin my tattoo done!
Halfwat through someone changed it to Pixies, but thats all good. He liked Autechre and I ended up transferring all me muzak to his laptop. I truly felt like a missionart spreading the word, and was happy in the knowledge that one day soon he would be getting his Autechre breakthrough, and all because of me hehe
Welcome to the Autechre tattoo club
Thank you six. Let's see yours then
Holy shit six that tat is fucking amazing also. I would probably get an Ae tat pretty soon actually if it wasn't for the fact that I have absolutely no money or income right now.

Oh I must have misunderstood. So no LTM, but an EKT hidden forum then?
No, when LTM disbanded, all the LTM group members were moved to EKT Plus, but for some reason, it caused a glitch where they don't show up properly in the EKT Plus group, and apparently now their posts don't count correctly either.
Honestly, I'm not normally this thick.
So when you say LTM group were moved to EKT Plus, you mean their 'title'? Or do you mean they were moved from the LTM forum to another hidden forum called EKT Plus? That's what I don't understand!
and Analogue Wings Stats went up by one in the whited out forum, that was a glitch?
I'm not being an arsehole about this I'm just genuinely curious as I imagine a load of other people in here are too. Just tell me to fuck off an mind my own if I'm bugging you with this.
edit: btw, I should explain the screenshot a little better. I took that a few days ago when all this malarkey started up again just out of interest. I checked out AW stats a few hours later to find his posts had gone up by one, but in the whited out forum and not in any other forum, yet other peoples had gone up normally, for the few that I checked.
We can stop worrying now, placidburp is on the case!

pretty much everything the OP said is exactly the same as in Canada. That being said I've always felt like I would fit in alot better with Brits than Canadians/Americans.
On that note, taking a trip to the UK is among my highest vacation priorities

I'll have to concede my earlier statement about Polygon_citites. I was listening the other day and I realized how awesome of an album it is. I still think Momentum is better though.
-
I don't think I've heard any monolake before; any online place to hear good samples?
wow Joyrex really? I was under the impression they are fairly well known because they are fairly prolific.
-
realistically, pretty low. Its a little too dancey/poppy for me. Its not bad, but they have done much much better. Gravity and Momentum are my favorites. You really should check out some of their singles though specifically get the two I was talking about, Alaska Melting and Atlas/Titan.
Again though, its all about Momentum, and those two singles, do the other albums after.
-
Oh my god vamos you have not heard Monolake until you hear Momentum
-
Momentum is best IMO, and Cinemascope and Interstate are also really really good. Check out the singles Atlas/Titan, and Alaska Melting, both of those are excellent.
Tetris and White_II are the best

Fuck it then someone recommend me some good metal/alternative rock that has a higher ratio of melodic singing than screaming.
I just dont really enjoy constant vocal anguish, I want to listen to some creepy moody stuff. I love the shit out of tool and primus if that helps, but I cant stand bands like alexisonfire and protest the hero because of the incredibly epic heroic tone the vocals take.
-
lol then you probably are because those guys came around over 15 years ago.
-
i got into korn when i was 11 years old and i still retain a residual like for them. i like the harmonies, even if the lyrics are embarrassing. i would say issues is also an album that i like aswell as the first two. limp bizkit no.
Yeah one thing I can agree with is that Jon Davis' lyrics are that of a whiny crybaby.
The guitar work is fucking epic though, not really in terms of technical skill but rather in terms of experimentation.
Its funny how my musical taste runs from korn/lb to slipknot to tool, primus, and all the way to autechre and other idm

I am a fan of the man, I just posted that because I had no idea he played in those games

Dont get all antsy about the Doc beefin on you, he's just here to get a ruse out of us. To be fair, it is pretty funny to see him get some of the noobs really riled up and I bet it was funny to see me freak out when I used to get riled up.
Anyways confield. Its awesome. I've listened to it twice through already lol. I'll probably do one of my extensive break-downs at some point but as was indicated earlier - Rook and encey have both done really awesome confield track-by-tracks. Specifically Rooks, that post is motherfucking epic and accurate as hell.
