    I really love the setting in AC3.

     

    But the protagonist Connor, is just awful. He reminds me of the Jedi's in the new Star Wars movies. Idealistic, righteous and really fucking boring. And he's just this puppet that does whatever he's told. Him and he's learning master Archilles also has the same character play the Jedi's had in the new Star Wars movies, they're always pissed at eachtogether and questioning eachtogether. What's is the appeal in that, how am I supposed to care about these two grumpy and boring people?

     

    Overall he's just very unlikable and unrelatable to me. Shame, because I thought Ezio was such an fun character in AC2.

    He's doing what he's told, because all he cares about is getting revenge on the people who burned down his village and killed his mom and friends. Connor doesn't really give a shit about the whole civil war between the blue- and redcoats, and considering how most of the people he meets are total assholes anyway, I don't see a reason not to be bitter about the whole thing.

     

    Also, I don't know how far you are into the game, but he does seem to change quite a bit (especially near the end). Remember to do the homestead missions after the game.

    This release makes me think there simply can't be many good tracks lying around the Rephlex office waiting to be released.

     

     

    First of all, half of these tracks don't really cut it, do they?

     

     

    Secondly, what seems like a single body of work (40 odd tracks from the same period, with similar approach and feel) has now been spread out over five (5!) different releases with quite a few overlaps between them, over a three year period. Some critical selection and a decisive release plan on Rephlex's behalf would have benefited JK's career, I'm sure.

    Exactly my thoughts. There's a few good tracks on these releases, but it seems like there has been absolutely no quality control. A lot of this stuff is just... boring.

    So I'm dying to play the new The Walking Dead episode but Xbox Live seems to be down - at least when it comes to buying MS points... or am I the only one experiencing this?

    I read something about MS dumping the point system, but it would be a bit silly of them to just block people off from buying them until then. You could always just buy a code from one of those cheap MS points websites.
