Well Cloud Atlas is one where if you get it and still don't like it they you have a valid reason not to like it.
If you don't get it and don't like it because you don't get it then your opinion has little merit.

I think it's going to be hard to top Life of Pi... The trailer looked like a felt black light poster came to life.

Yeah.. the Life of Pi trailer might be the cheesiest thing I've watched in my entire life.
Life of Pi was great, yall seriously should watch it. I went in without a dam clue what I was in store for and the story was great. One of the few movies I've actually appreciated in theaters in a while.
The trailer only does the visuals of the movie justice. The story is kept a complete secrete until you watch it and for a good reason.

Cloud Atlas has a respectable 7.5/10
Samsara gets a 9.3/10
What they should have done with Cloud Atlas (and this is coming from someone who hasn't read the novel) is instead of using the same actors/actress to play each of the different time periods is use different actress and actors that all had some sort of reference to their various selfs such as birthmarks or the obvious appeal to music that would allow the audience to infer that they are tied to each other. Having the same exact people play each time period is just weird and through the vibe off for me. Might have complicated things a bit more but that is the nature of the movie they were making to begin with.

First time every playing a game like it. Pretty sweet.

Merry Christmas folks. Have lost of family fun. Meanwhile I woke up to an alert saying tornado warning for my county.

Bioshock was extremely captivating in regards to its atmosphere and unique presentation. If they can reignite that in Infinite, we can all expect to get our monies worth. .

Me and my friends can't stop playing PlayStation Allstars Battle Royal. They got it for my B day and I must say it does an excellent job standing out along side Brawl.

I'm totally hooked on Far Cry 3 now I have all the takedown skills and the wingsuit + parachute. Taking out a few guys with chained and knife throw takedowns and jumping of a cliff never gets old. Some of the set pieces are pretty damn cool as well. Such a shame the story comes out so bland because the protagonist and his friends are such shitty characters.

Just got done beating After Fall Insanity. It has its ups and downs. The gameplay and story were enough to make me want to see through it to the end and actually enjoy it while doing so. However, certain parts (especially at the end where it really counts) feel rushed and cut scenes lack sounds and slow down to some crappy matrix like slow down technique. At first you don't know if its intended or if their doing it for technical reasons, I still don't know.
Back to Fry Cry 3.

I've been playing Half Life 2 + episodes once a week for a few hours at least for 2 years now and will continue until Half Life 3 is announced. The Resurrection of Video Games.
I know what you mean. In the end, all the games I play are essentially to fill the time gap until HL3 gets released.

Playing Fry Cry 3. Graphics are what I wanted from Skyrim and what I expect HL3 to be like.
Gameplay is pretty good to boot, so far 8/10 for me.

Coincidentally, last night i actually had a dream about happycase. He was running on some traintracks and I didn't want to go with because it was dangerous. But i followed anyway and trains were coming here and there. I dodged into the bushes to avoid getting hit. After we were on the train tracks for a while like 5 girls in bikinis emerged walking toward us.
I DID have 2 very important dreams recently though:
The first one was Derrida as a rapist. He was an extremely horrifying rapist and he would rape women to get book deals from this really, really scary publicist lady who told him it was the only way.
The second one was unspeakably horrifying and it involved my old house and the bathroom inside of it. I've had many dreams of this bathroom being overflowing with the most disgusting shit when I had to use it, when guests would be downstairs or robbers were invading the yard outside. Every time I dream of my old house where my mom and dad still live, there is this grey, dim lighting feeling. It's a very deep, dangerous part of my unconscious mind I think. Because I have seen this toilet bathroom dream many times. THIS time... in the dream the bathroom was TERRIFYINGLY CLEAN. Like, sparkling, sterile, white clean. There was a sheen to it that was disturbing
For the next 2 days I was really depressed and every time I went near my bed I was reminded of the feelings I had in the dream, some kind of nostalgia for childhood from the deep recesses of my mind. I really am troubled by this part of myself and feel like it must be a universal experience.
Did someone crap all over the walls in there or what man?

Valve is working on an updated engine.
HL3 will probably be released on said updated engine.

I've seen it twice and I was wide awake both times, Its just so amazing. I need more films from him.
If you haven't seen Baraka then you should see that too, It isn't as dark as Samsara.
I was going to give it a 10 but I settled for a 9.3 because I know he can do better and I expect as much when the stander high resolutions go up.
