It's average at best.
Trying to revive the detroit techno spirit is either embarrasing and a big failure or temporarily exciting and then forgettable, these days.
Detroit is techno.
ruiagnelo, mate! the new Carl Craig 12" is a stripped down monster!
Carl Craig does the simple things brilliantly on this record! There's no showing off, he's just giving it us the way it's meant to be.. bare, raw and future! He understands the power of sound so well, the right sound in the right place at the right time.. jobs good!
The two Dutta tracks haven't really hit any chords with me either yet.. need to listen again to overcolour.
Still looking forward to hearing the full album.
pleasure mate.. i too like Ed's sweater.. that colour reminds me of Nike's old 180's :)
Half Moon In Conversation Sessions Part 1
Ed and Will taking about their collaboration on Will Dutta's new album 'Parergon'.
Great news! some new Plaid!
Always played Booc at 33rpm since it came out.. thought that was the correct speed of the record until i found that everyone else was playing it at 45. I've tried playing it faster but i'm to used to hearing it at a slower and sexier pace ;) Read in an interview around 2001 where Ed&Andyx was asked at what speed should Booc be played.. they answered, we don't care :)
yeah, Tophapy really works well at 33.. Cost III sounds very nice at 33 too. Top EP!
