it's worth noting that, as far as i now understand, the wire's publishing of those 3 teaser tracks was not authorised by Ae.
Hence the set now having been taken down from the Wire's site.

i think 1:13:00 is still pretty long. i'm excited for the album.
Rook, are you still holding out? I listened to the radio show tracks but I'm waiting for the album. People who download the leaks are just weak and have no self-restraint. Their parents probably gave them everything they wanted when they were kids lol

not sure encey, i guess the vinyl wll be the same order. i'm sure there is a method to the running order...but like all things ae, will take a long time to gestate and get a feel for.
interview is with Sean, tomorrow at 1pm. Have sent him the questions already, so hopefully he'll find a mo to look em over.. did ask about the track order anyway (that's one from Mosca incidentally).
how many questions did you ask him? i hope it goes well mate
how long is Quaristice as a whole? (you prob. already said this somewhere, sorry) i mean, are the tracks normal length and the album super long, or are the tracks really short?

that's another thing - i dont see/hear/feel any cohesion. as mo suggested yesterday (in the midst of a high-ranking Quarastice discussion at a 'top secret' installation) it has the feeling of Gescom Minidisc about it... ie arbitrary running order which could easily be played on shuffle/random and deliver similar results.
do you think the vinyl will be sequenced any different?

i liked the tracks more the second time i listened (it was on better speakers too)

i hope we're all talking about the same part. with a repeating higher melody and lower bass notes that change underneath over two bars. the next part on the live set after the section i'm thinking of is more of a hip-hoppy kind of beat.

so what do you think of the alleged samples that bl0tch posted on xlt? they sound like autechre to me, at least the first one. but from the untilted samples, i know better than to say one way or the other now.
