(i've never used garageband because it's retarded) when the export dialg comes up, choose what format you want to export in.. ie .wav, .mp3.. whatever, youi get the piccy. choose a name for your track, then hit the save button. sorted. have you read the manual yet.? definitely read the manual. or the help files. or both.
