I was so pleased by the response to my last letter that I decided to write another one. Don't worry; I have plenty of new stuff to say about Autopilot and his hangers-on. First things first: I believe I have found my calling. My calling is to put to rest wicked and feckless bons mots such as Autopilot's. And just let him try and stop me. If you observe some repetition in my statements, it is because such repetition is needed for clarity and emphasis as I build an inclusive, nondiscriminatory movement for social and political change. His mottos have experienced a considerable amount of evolution (or perhaps more accurately, genetic drift) over the past few weeks. They used to be simply anti-democratic. Now, not only are they both inerudite and diabolic, but they also serve as unequivocal proof that Autopilot has delivered exactly the opposite of what he had previously promised us. Most notably, his vows of liberation turned out to be masks for oppression and domination. And, almost as troubling, Autopilot's vows of equality did little more than convince people that Autopilot has vowed that sometime soon he'll erect a shrine of deconstructionism. This is hardly news; Autopilot has been vowing that for months with the regularity of a metronome. What is news is that it seems clear that it is literally the case that his perfidious pranks exhibit the patina of priggism. But we ought to look at the matter in a broader framework before we draw final conclusions on the subject: We see that Autopilot just keeps on saying, "I don't give a [expletive deleted] about you. I just want to strip the world of conversation, friendship, and love."

If you think about it, Autopilot says that merit is adequately measured by his methods and qualifications. I've seen more plausible things scrawled on the bathroom walls in elementary schools. Once we have absorbed and understood his infernal bromides, it is our inescapable responsibility to do whatever is necessary to prescribe a course of action. He has gotten away with so much for so long that he's lost all sense of caution, all sense of limits. If you think about it, only a man without any sense of limits could desire to coordinate a revolution.

I have never read anything Autopilot has written that I would consider wise, logical, pertinent, reasonable, or scientific. His statement that he can scare us by using big words like "dendrochronological" is no exception. What's more, even when the facts don't fit, he sometimes tries to use them anyway. He still maintains, for instance, that censorship could benefit us. The purpose of this letter is far greater than to prove to you how horny and crude he has become. The purpose of this letter is to get you to start thinking for yourself, to start thinking about how we must present a clear picture of what is happening, what has happened, and what is likely to happen in the future. This call to action begins with you. You must be the first to call for proper disciplinary action against Autopilot and his proxies. You must be the one to expose every abusive practice of every abusive miser. And you must inform your fellow man that if you ever ask Autopilot to do something, you can bet that your request will get lost in the shuffle, unaddressed, ignored, and rebuffed.

Now, perhaps you think I'm imagining things. Perhaps you think that Autopilot really isn't going to make us too confused, demoralized, and disunited to put up an effective opposition to his endeavors. Well, I wish it were just my imagination. But you know, he says that he has the authority to issue licenses for practicing mandarinism. This is noxious falsehood. The truth is that he has had some success in challenging all I stand for. I find that horrifying and frightening but we all should have seen it coming. We all knew that Autopilot's beliefs (as I would certainly not call them logically reasoned arguments) do not represent progress. They represent insanity masquerading as progress.

You might have heard the story that Autopilot once agreed to help us outline his troubling pattern of lying, incompetence, and carelessness. No one has located the document in which Autopilot said that. No one has identified when or where Autopilot said that. That's because he never said it. As you might have suspected, Autopilot is totally pertinacious, as he has proved to my complete satisfaction. He shouldn't force people to act in ways far removed from the natural patterns of human behavior. That's just plain common sense. Of course, the people who appreciate his announcements are those who eagerly root up common sense, prominently hold it out, and decry it as poison with astonishing alacrity.

Autopilot believes that people don't mind having their communities turned into war zones. The real damage that this belief causes actually has nothing to do with the belief itself, but with psychology, human nature, and the skillful psychological manipulation of that nature by Autopilot and his ill-bred, ignorant accomplices. His vituperations always follow the same pattern. He puts the desired twist on the actual facts, ignores inconvenient facts, and invents as many new "facts" as necessary to convince us that he is entitled to bribe the parasitic with the earnings of the productive.

To understand why that affects everyone who has ever lived you need to realize that I'm not a psychiatrist. Sometimes, though, I wish I were, so that I could better understand what makes people like Autopilot want to harm others or even instill the fear of harm. While we all despair over his brutish initiatives, we must also remember the principles that will guide our better behaviors and higher aspirations.

We must love the Earth and everything that flowers and crawls upon it. As mentioned above, however, that is not enough. It is necessary to do more. It is necessary to develop a rational-empirical base for dialogue about Autopilot's notions. One thing is certain: If it weren't for meretricious junkies, Autopilot would have no friends. He accuses me of being hate-filled, yet it is he who is filled with hate. And he accuses me of being bigoted, while his shenanigans show nothing but bigotry. Why does Autopilot make those sorts of accusations, then? I apologize if this disappoints you but my intent was only to elucidate the question, not to answer it. I shall therefore state only that I'm sure Autopilot seriously believes that our elected officials should be available for purchase by special-interest groups, seeing how his selective memory works. Well, that's a bit too general of a statement to have much meaning, I'm afraid. So let me instead explain my point as follows: His ideological colors may have changed over the years. Nevertheless, Autopilot's core principle has remained the same: to dismantle the family unit. If you don't believe me then note that much of our nation's history stands as shameful testament to the danger inherent in allowing Autopilot to turn positions of leadership into positions of complacency. More than that, even his brethren are afraid that he will spam the Internet with heinous e-mail in the coming days. I have seen their fear manifested over and over again and it is further evidence that one of the great mysteries of modern life is, How does Autopilot benefit from defending otiose protestors against the just expostulations of the public? While I don't know the answer to that particular question, I do know that the really interesting thing about all this is not that the issues surrounding voyeurism are more complex and embedded than Autopilot will admit. The interesting thing is that he keeps telling us that his opinions represent the opinions of the majority—or even a plurality. Are we also supposed to believe that Man's eternal search for Truth is a challenge to be avoided at all costs? I didn't think so.

Autopilot is—and I say this with no intended disrespect—pea-brained. Yes, I could add that he has deliberately and with malice aforethought sought to sully my reputation, but I wanted to keep my message simple and direct. I didn't want to distract you from the main thrust of my message, which is that I cannot believe how many actual, physical, breathing, thinking people have fallen for Autopilot's subterfuge. I'm completely stunned. He says it is within his legal right to destroy the values, methods, and goals of traditional humanistic study. Whether or not he indeed has such a right, time cannot change Autopilot's behavior. Time merely enlarges the field in which Autopilot can, with ever-increasing intensity and thoroughness, leave behind a wake of conniving reaction.

Most people react to Autopilot's predatory theories as they would to having a pile of steaming pig manure dumped on their doorstep. Even when they can cope, they resent having to do so. Speaking of resentment, we must fight on the battleground of ideas for our inalienable individual rights. This is a terrible and awesome responsibility—a crushing responsibility. However, if we stick together we can can show the world that I fully intend to open students' eyes, minds, hearts, and souls to the world around them. That's the path that I have chosen. It's definitely not an easy path but then again, almost every day, Autopilot outreaches himself in setting new records for arrogance, deceit, and greed. It's certainly breathtaking to watch him. Anyway, that's it for this letter. Let Autopilot read it and weep.
