in every dream home a heartache

oh. man, the freakout at the end

remake/remodel

eno and andy mackay shine on this one

editions of you

eno and ferry... gay alien lawyers specialising in atonal synth solos. at your service.

also andy mackay on fire in this one

do the strand

(not 'stand' as the site sez)

i fucking love (early) roxy music an unusual amount. and it really annoys me i have to add (early). wtf, bryan ferry. wtf.

avalon is a great album, so i'm not sure what you mean by early

Avalon was their last album afaik, so that certainly wouldn't qualify.

Presume early means the Eno years, in the early to mid 70s. Not such a fan, but do love the later era. Yes, some say blander, but just not such a fan of the art or glam phase and preferred the polished soft pop rock that tinged letr work and Ferry's own solo career.

when i say early, i mean the first three albums: roxy music, for your pleasure, and stranded

they started to get progressively less interesting after that. country life is ok, though

oh. i disagree, since i think avalon is their best album. but that's the one my parents always played so it's got some nostalgia attached to it.

also bryan ferry's cover of jealous guy is pretty amazing. much better than the original imo
