Guest alteR ideM Posted December 30, 2010 Share Posted December 30, 2010 thank you! i have only posted songs to friends thru facebook and myspace in the past. myspace was cool for awhile but it got out of hand. facebook is good but only a small handfull of people really look for music there so it was really more just posting for friends and family to hear. i would like very much to get more exposure and try to get something steady going that ivolves me making new music for a purpose/audience rather than just myself and a handful of people i meet at parties or whatever and then never see again. music is like the only thing i have true passion for and its really one of the most unforgiving professions to be a part of if you need to make ends meet and dislike "real" work ;) i need to meet more people that think along the same lines i do and need more support. i kow lots of musicians in more traditional type bands and plenty of djs both digital and vinyl. but the music i make (as well as many of the people here on WATMM) has a very specific audience and is not always the easiest kind of music to introduce to new people, especially if they are more into pop radio or mtv or whatever... anyways i'm blabbing, i'm just happy someone commented on my music positively in such a short amount of time after posting it. BTW i listened to some of your songs as well and liked what i heard. kind of reminds me of boards of canada in a way, or least i can tell that must be an influence by the sounds of it... cheers mate! once i get used to soundcloud and figure more of it out i will help promote your stuff on my profile and suggest you to others if you will do the same.. that goes for anyone else out there reading this long winded comment of mine! ok seriously though, this is way too long of a comment just to say thanks for listening and i got tons more music to show to the world...
