thats right AFCB Vs Peterborough Live on skysports2.. as a supporter of a league 1 side, i always like to tell peopel who support big teams to come and watch AFCB play. its no barca.. but its rock solid (sometimes) hard football.

last time we played the posh.. we stuck 5 past them (pittman hatrick) now we dont have him or eddie howe, or josh mcquoid.

forms a bit dodgy for afcb right now.. only 1 point out of 4 of our last games (from 2nd with a 6 point lead to 6th with a 5 point lead from dropping outside the playoffs) so its a much win game for us.. (our TV record isnt very good as well, ive never seen us win on tv the last 4-5 games ive seen on tv)

anyways its worth chooning in to see the magical fin - Lauri Dalla Valle, who is a diffrent class, imo. scored some great goals for us in the last 4 games. also in form is liam feeney, jason pearce (who is always solid as a CB). Also i may add its a massive game.

Preview vs. Peterborough (a)

Lee Bradbury takes his Cherries side to London Road on Friday night as the Bournemouth go toe-to-toe with high-flyers Peterborough in front of the Sky cameras.

The team travel East in confidence after last weekends draw against Charlton which saw the side do everything but win in a much improved performance from recent weeks. Only a mixture of poor refereeing, missed chances and Goalkeeping heroics denied the Cherries maximum points, but the side know they will need a repeat performance if they are to take anything away from a rampant Posh.

Since the re-hiring of Manager Darren Ferguson back in January the Posh have been on a rampage towards the automatic promotion spots in League 1 scoring hatfuls of goals in the process. They currently find themselves third in the table and a win tomorrow will take them to just a single point behind Huddersfield.

For the Cherries midweek results weren`t to favourable as Leyton Orient and Rochdale are kn ow very real threats to the squads play-off place. With just eight games left for Bradbury`s men points on the board are needed so hopefully Friday will give all us Cherries something to shout about.

Peterborough Team News:

Star Striker Craig Mackail-Smith has returned fully fit after making his Scotland debut in last weekends friendly defeat to Brazil, whilst midfield playmaker Grant McCann also returns from international duty. Defender Mark Little is suspended following his sending off against Bristol Rovers last time out.

Player to watch: Craig Mackail-Smith

The Ex-Dagenham forward man has been in prolific form this campaign notching 22 league goals so far this term. His performances haven`t gone unrecognised as Norwich saw a bid for the Striker turned down on deadline day. Chairman Barry Fry has already conceded Mackail-Smith will move on in the summer.

AFC Bournemouth Team News:

Shwan Jalal should be fit to return to his old stomping ground as he recovers from a back injury which saw him miss last weekends game. Bradbury has a wealth of striking options at his disposal as Michael Symes looks set to be fit. Steve Lovell and Ben Williamson came through Tuesdays reserve fixture and could feature from the bench.

Player to watch: Jason Pearce

With the Posh known for their free goal scoring exploit`s the Cherries backline could be in for some serious treatment. Captain fantastic Pearce has led from the front all season and he must be at his best once more this weekend. However, the entire team will need to put 100% effort and commitment into the performance if we are to return south with any reward.

Match Prediction:

Peterborough 3-0 AFCB

As much as we need the points right now I just don`t see it. The Posh are absolutely flying and are a mean proposition at home. In front of the Sky cameras they will want to send a message to the rest of the promotion hopefuls and I just can`t see us troubling them.

Peterborough already hold the record for most goals scored (134 in 1960), lol.

Just a shame we've conceded almost a record number of goals as well.
