Could we sticky this please? Thanks! Sooooo, I guess the two kinda big moves going down at the moment are and As for my beloved Cardiff City we can't sign anyone as we're under a transfer embargo and haven't paid our tax bills or filed the accounts for the 2008-2009 period. Only at Cardiff City does the drama never end.

BBC has been reshowing the few Wales international glories during quarantine. Germany 1991, Italy 2002, errrrr........Euro ‘16? Good moments, but turgid overall. If you can be arsed, lob up any game highlights of your favourite wins, losses or draws. Any teams, any level. Gloating is entirely permissible. Try & keep them succinct. To start (wanna save Cardiff v Leeds for later) & no scouse allegiances through neutrality, this during a full moon 24 years ago was insane. Soz @kakapo, if you hadn’t mentioned black & white loyalism somewhere it wouldn’t have twinged my synapses

So Ronaldo/Juve is out. Can't see Barca win against Bayern. So who will win CL, and who will win Ballon d´Or this year?

You slack cunts Not that i give too much of a fk about the usual Inglan suspects, but anyone except Chelski & Citeh, right? Liverpool & Spurs - if you don't win it this year might have to quit watching PL matches altogether, not like the metropolitan elite at Stoke or Millwall away have that much going on football entertainment-wise to distract

Alright lads? That time of year again. Day 1 has some tasty looking matchups. Real-Roma, Liverpool-PSG, Inter-Spurs, Monaco-Atletico should all be good. City-Lyon could be good as well, depending on which Lyon team comes out. Any favourites?

Season starts in a couple of days so let’s hear your thoughts/predictions/wild fantasies (though nothing about threesomes with Ashley Cole please). Mine: Citeh to retain the title, a tough slog between United, Spurs, Chelsea, Liverpool for the 2-4 spots. Mid-table, feel as though Everton and West Ham have some some good business in the transfer window (shortening it in a World Cup year was a bit silly), so might prove tough competition for Arsenal, who I think will struggle post-Wenger (crazy to think he won’t be able to almost sign every up and comer in the PL anymore).

Does anyone listen to this podcast? Its link to football has become increasingly strenuous but it's magic. Bob Mortimer is one of the funniest men on the planet.

Late to the party, but let's start it off with two beauties from Arsenal. This finish from Ozil is so sweet and he makes it look so easy. https://streamable.com/0871n And then this goal is really the reason that soccer is so sweet - pure poetry. https://streamable.com/9qm0w

Apologies for the blatant self promotion, but at the start of the season I got involved in a new podcast about the Bundesliga that I record and also chat shit on, and it's been turning out pretty decent and want to give it a bit of promotion. So if anyone wants a bit more of a deeper look of what’s going on in Germany, every Wednesday we basically cover the whole matchday and then have a bit of an in depth topic at the end; from club profiles to fan culture, fan protests and much more, so if anyone wants to follow the Bundesliga with 2 englishmen, a spaniard and a german living in Berlin then check it out. We're all match going fans so hopefully can provide a good insig…

Pretty stoked about this! 48 teams instead of 32 as well. Should be a different scope and vibe than Russia and Qatar to say the least. I went to a 94' game with my dad at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas and saw Germany and South Korea play, the former winning 3-2.

Don’t know why there wasn’t a topic started earlier. Round of 16 draws look tasty. Only see two real easy draws (Bayern and Citeh). Otherwise some tasty matches that should see us (united), Liverpool, and Roma through, but not easily. Then three really tasty draws with Chelsea-Barca, PSG-Madrid, and Spurs-Juve.

first & foremost, fuck off Chelsea Bluebirds top of the league, aye wrong thread top 4? if Conte goes and Chelski have already blown it, that leaves room for a rejig Utd or Citeh Spurs Gooners Chelksi or Liverpool.....the latter from Coutinho's rumbles bit like Suarez & then Gerrard scuppering Brendan's ride but Klopp is breath of fresh air, if they hit form who knows the Utd guesstimate is from them prob buying big in the winter window & clicking any1 but Chelski please with Spurs a bookies flutter for £20 cos they've been at it long enough ;)

What a crazy first half. A red card for Boyata in fifth minute, 5 yellow card total, Arsenal goal by Nasri and a Missed penalty by Fabregas. Can't wait for the second half!

Forgot to start a thread about this earlier. Crazy weekend so far. Absolute horror tackle from Neil Taylor on Seamus Coleman. The most frustrating team in the world to play against is back (that's right, Greece 2004 has returned). Netherlands making Bulgaria look good. The French national team shows Wenger how to use Giroud properly. Ronaldo gets his 70th international goal on a pretty free kick, leaving him 14 away from being tied with Puskas for leading European international goal scorer.

So it's time once again for the more exciting of the two european competitions to get lit af Let's start with West Ham. Knocked out of the competition by Romanian side Astra Giurgiu - currently in 11th position in the Romanian League, they've had to sell their best players in order to pay wages, the manager is suspended for betting on football, and the owner is in jail. It's also the second year in a row West Ham has been knocked out of the EL by Astra. Jesus fuck what the fuck is going on over there - i know Hammers didn't have their full line-up, but that looked woeful.
