Squee Posted May 10, 2012 Share Posted May 10, 2012 You really need to dub this out some more. The synth that comes in at 0:27 sticks out in a bad way. You should definitely consider replacing that with something else. Plus, it sounds a bit out of tune. Production wise it sounds good. The bass might just be a biiiit too loud (I could feel my ears getting tired as I was listening to it on my monitors) but apart from that it sounds good. I know it's just a demo but make sure to make some radical changes and breaks... hell, you could just settle for making somebreaks where you remove everything but the skank stabs, bass, and hi hat and then make those tracks more dubby by adding some great effects and then bring it all back again. I could do a section where I have some more dubby elements but its really a question of making sure everything sits nicely which I've spent a while working on.
