fringerviv
Loved the reverse arrangement of Avril 14th. Someone uploaded the reversed arrangement played backwards to youtube. I just married the audio with the original track. Love the sounds and the echoing effect. Makes me want to build backing parts to my own tracks in this same way.https://soundcloud.com/charliebrownsandersiii/reveravril-
Verdant Hickies
interesting how the reversed stuff is often the correct base tone even though it's reversed.
fringerviv
One track is ahead of the other. Putting them right on top of one another seemed off. Also, the pseudo time stretching on the reverse arranged track had to be guesstimated. Not sure what the ramping that finally worked against the original track was, but it was a variance for sure. But yeah, it just kind of a bunch of moving the parts around to hear how they could compliment themselves best to me is all I was trying to do. I wound up with a fascination for reverse arranging and reverse playback for all new work to be built in the future. With some actual true sound design mixing involved it could start to make the writing-sketch process way more figured out from the start in some cases I think. Guest Dimus
Lovely stuff. The way it sucks in and out is great particularly from around 1:00 to 1:20.
