Music simillar to Chris Cunningham's remix of "New York Is Killing Me"?

Does anyone know of any other artists, albums, or songs that have a similar sound to this track?

 

This is easily one of my favorite remixes ever... I love the fusion of Gil's bluesy soul with the dark moody synths and drones. I'd love to hear more like this but, I can't really think of anything else that really combines these two sounds to this degree. If any of you guys have any suggestions throw em at me.

Totally not what you're looking for but it reminds me a bit of this now esp around the 4 min mark:
