  1. I find it very very scary that people are now emboldened to the point where they flaunt their nationalism. This is very scary. What the fuck is going on. If you go on twitter you can find so many people promoting white nationalist views, and they think they've won.

    THIS IS FUCKING CRAZY.

This is fucking exactly what people were afraid of, and the fucking democratic party fucked us by running a shit candidate.

  2. ROFL

    https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/trump-picks-top-climate-skeptic-to-lead-epa-transition/

Donald Trump has selected one of the best-known climate skeptics to lead his U.S. EPA transition team, according to two sources close to the campaign.

Myron Ebell, director of the Center for Energy and Environment at the conservative Competitive Enterprise Institute, is spearheading Trump’s transition plans for EPA, the sources said.

The Trump team has also lined up leaders for its Energy Department and Interior Department teams. Republican energy lobbyist Mike McKenna is heading the DOE team; former Interior Department solicitor David Bernhardt is leading the effort for that agency, according to sources close to the campaign.

Ebell is a well-known and polarizing figure in the energy and environment realm. His participation in the EPA transition signals that the Trump team is looking to drastically reshape the climate policies the agency has pursued under the Obama administration. Ebell’s role is likely to infuriate environmentalists and Democrats but buoy critics of Obama’s climate rules.

It's a great time to work in Oil and Gas.

  3. lol at the people saying "this is a momentous achievement" and he's just picking up fucking neocons, corrupt politicians, family members, and military industrial complex folks to advise and run his administration. This is the issue with people that lack foresight and do not care about information vs feelings.

Looking at it right now, it's basically a 3rd term for Bush and Cheney disguised as the right's Obama.

  4.

of course fucking Sarah Palin is getting a job, what a fucking joke.

edit: also Ben fucking Carson as Education Secretary. flol. This is the worst. The fucking worst.

    fucking page break

Good lord is this really real?

    all speculation.

not entirely speculation. speculation with some information backing it up.

He's offered positions to people, but he hasn't clarified what those positions will actually be.

  5. His foreign policy team is a nightmare for all of us.

    http://www.politico.com/blogs/2016-gop-primary-live-updates-and-results/2016/03/trump-foreign-policy-team-221049

Those named by Trump include counterterrorism expert Walid Phares; Carter Page, a long-time energy industry consultant; George Papadopoulos ("an oil and energy consultant. Excellent guy"); Joe Schmitz, a former inspector general at the Defense Department and later an executive at Blackwater; retired Gen. Keith Kellogg, "and quite a few more," Trump told the editorial board at the meeting in downtown Washington, where he was accompanied by campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and spokeswoman Hope Hicks.

Kellogg, currently a vice president at defense contractor Cubic, previously served as commander of the 82nd Airborne Division and as a security-focused deputy to L. Paul Bremer in Iraq. His final job in the military was as director of Command, Control, Communications and Computers for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

I hope by the end of his first term we will see some kind of Nuremberg trials for the global, financial, and political elite.

You keep buying devices that promote slave labor but yeah fuck the elite, don't blame urself for anything

You can thank the New World Order for that. Our horrendous corporate taxes have created so much fucking misery.

corporate taxes = slave labor. man you are thick.

I blame ourselves for not being aware enough/have the balls to say no

That as well. The nation is asleep and we must awaken them. It's not government's bad and corporations are good and it's not government's good and corporations are bad. The bigger the government gets the bigger the corporations get. The only reason why it's like this is because of the collusion. It must end

corporations do not get larger because government gets larger. wtf are you even talking about?

You have no fucking clue what you're talking about.

  7. Obamacare brought the uninsured rate from 18% to 8% so handling that process poorly is going to result in a lot of backlash.

I'm not watching the electoral college thing. Definitely not watching info wars.

It should only be about popular vote. Electoral college is just another way for the parties to more easily control elections. Just like the primary system.

It's a way to protect the rural communities from the major cities in terms of voter representation. It's the only thing saving the balance between local, state, and federal government. We are a republic, not democracy (mob rule).

    rofl nice characterization

  8. My predictions and assessment:

    1) Trump will probably enact a lot of cookie-cutter republican policies, which as evidenced in years passed do not really serve us that well. Business is already doing well. CEO's are making record pay. Companies are making giant profits. Understanding how to turn the economy into one that serves low and middle class people is not something I think Trump understands or cares about. For example, his childcare policy was all tax subsidies, which never helps the people that need the most help. He has an understanding of large scale business, and that has never included the "little guy". In fact, he's gone out of his way on many occasions to get back at and destroy "the little guy". Do his feelings change now that he represents those people? Maybe.

    2) We have a fake economy. Trump could destroy that illusion, and it could be disastrous for all of us in the short term. In the long term it's probably for the best that it comes crashing down now, but it could get very ugly if it does. For instance, with the low interest rates we have now there's basically no available response if things get worse. Our economy has been very slowly rebounding. It takes a lot of intelligence and finesse to keep that going.

       a) big energy is probably going to get released to enjoy their last great surge of profits before we turn full green. ~5 years before this tide starts shifting majorly to renewable sources I think.

       b) big business, especially manufacturing, is going to feel huge growth. A ton of the places that support Trump did so, because their economies are dependent on manufacturing. If this is done intelligently it's not terrible for the USA, but if it's poorly executed it means we start resembling China.

    3) This may be a blessing in disguise. It's at least a silver lining that the Dem Party tried to rig an election and failed. This is a good signal that you shouldn't stand in the way of the will of the people. That is very positive for all of us, because it disincentivizes corruption. Bernie is possibly the most important person in the Democratic Party now. Hopefully Hillary is cast aside completely. I'm not opposed to Trump bringing criminal charges against her. I'd like to see her, and the last two administrations punished. I'd like to see war crimes charges brought against Bush, Cheney, and Obama.

    4) Like I said before, not all of Trump's ideas are bad. If he keeps from turning into a fascist dictator, realizes the true gravity of his position, matures along the way, and rises to the occasion then we could see a lot of good. A lot of decent people voted for Trump, because they were tired of the establishment, and it had nothing to do with liking Trump. This is a similar reasoning to why decent people were also voting for Hillary.

    5) The media has more or less completely discredited themselves, and more and more people realize this. This reduces their ability to stranglehold our ideas and perceptions. This is positive for all of us.

    6) You don't want Trump to get assassinated. You definitely don't want Mike Pence running our country. It would an exactly copy of the Bush administration, which we all can see was terribly destructive for this country.

    7) Anti-establishment sentiment is at an all time high. This is good for change. This means people are opening their minds and accepting new things.

    8) If Trump focuses on infrastructure, which he has an interest in, being in construction and real estate, he could really help bring the country into being a hyper-modern super power. Could be sick as fuck having hyperloops, and bad ass transportation system everywhere.

    9) Foreign policy is up in the fucking air. I can't even begin to analyze this. I'm not equipped nor knowledgeable enough to make any guesses at it.

I'm sure I'll think of more things later, but this is all I have for now.

I wonder how he's going to react to the comedy assault. snl, john oliver etc. We know what a massive fucking baby he is with stuff like that. He might force some of that shit off air.

I wouldn't worry. He has a good sense of humor, and he likes attention.

What I'm truly concerned about is what the elites are going to respond with before January. Market crash? Assassination attempt? Nuclear war? It's all on the table. The fight is not over. It has just begun.

The path of least resistance is to try and influence Trump and get in bed with him. Not to kill him.

  9. One positive thing... Now we'll actually be living in a dystopian apocalyptic world ruled by the corporation like out of a cyberpunk novel/movie. I mean that's pretty exciting. *Evokes scenes from Strange Days, 1984, V for Vendetta, etc, and gets kind of excited* we can all now have underground resistance bunkers and stash our hidden art.

Being part of an underground resistance while listening to underground resistance. silver linings.
