Awake - It was really good but they fucking cancelled it and what was clearly meant to be a 2 season show got abruptly FUCK YOU ended.
Touch - dat jack bauer whisper - dunno, its kinda annoying but enjoyable in certain places, mostly meh tho.
Continuum - Just started, actually really liked the first episode, has promise.
Supernatural - I marathoned the entire 7 seasons in about a month, is that even possible? anyway - im now a fanboy, fml

The film is violent and tense but Sir Ridley - who has been an
outspoken critic of the current rules of film ratings - insists he cut
as much he could to open the film to a wider audience.
"It has to be be about the movie, so I've made concessions. There's a moment where you don't want to harm the movie.
But he acknowledges its a case of simple economics and getting an 18 certificate "could be the difference of $80m or more".
"It isn't real - I have monsters. Like the monsters in Lord
of the Rings, for kids they were pretty scary but they got a PG-13
because their blood was black, that's rubbish".

as long as you can suspend your disbelief for how dumb the people in this film are its pretty good
this, just enjoy the fucking movie, it is a visual treat

How gory was it? I only ask because my gf expressed an interest in seeing it but she tends not to handle that sort of thing well.
Theres a few instances of body horror but it is not bad at all. It is effective, not vomit-inducing.

It was noticeably better than I expected to the point where I was actually surprised.
Me too, i was buzzing throughout and am still buzzed now, i just wanted to stay and see another showing. You can tell lindelof had a hand in this film, his stamp is all over it, the simplest questions answered, even bigger ones brought up. Bring on a mother fucking sequel!!
oh and i nearly forgot, fassbender steals the show, again.

Hi guys, i just got back from the cinema. I REALLY enjoyed it, it is beautifully made and very watchable and i need to see it again for all the little details i missed. Alien DNA definitely, More sci-fi thriller than sci-fi horror tho. Prepare for a shit-storm of disappointment from the general public expecting alien 5.

i have a 2k rig i put together back in 98 for djing/squat parties, audio concepts is the brand for all of it, i dont think they exist anymore, ive had countless pints of beer spilt over the amp, the speakers have seen pounds of drugs snorted off the top, numerous people fucking and have dents all over them, best 1000 quid i ever spent, i dont think they will ever die, they just keep on going no matter what.

scott is kind of a badass, anyone who works with him ends up beaming in interviews, its almost all you hear of, its all about how fucking amazing he is at what he does. watching both the alien and bladerunner documentaries i see why, the man is a visionary.

I think ridley is either a) wanting to get on that list of top grossing franchise/films or b) sacrificing his vision to make sequels an absolute certainty and with bigger budget.
this seems so fucking not like him, this man was always about HIS VISION, shit got done his way or you got off the fucking ride, i cant tell if this is some master stroke or if hes just old and losing it.

ridley said in an interview that the whole used/grimy future look has been done to death and he wanted to go a different way, i dont really get it, how has it been done to death exactly, few people did it better than him.

fucking A, even though i thoroughly enjoyed the movie as is, it did feel heavily cut and tamed. quite exited for it to be restored, hopefully not 25 years later eh
