great, now the group is archived. i miss the old days of colundi when you could actually purchase some really good music as physical releases instead of reading mystical gibberish in a facebook group.
-
i have to admit i still consider 80 GBP an insane prize for 5 cassettes, considering that you get absolutely no information on the contents, the release schedule....i mean buying the single colundi 6 cassette including postage was cheaper than buying these 5 cassettes already considering the discount for buying all of them. also why do you have to e-mail them first to receive price information?
i guess i'll have to pass on these...as much as i love dave monolith.

Sony Music
seriously WeMe though

well, this is why a bidding system is a bit unfair...if they wan't more money they should probably have a set amount plus anything you are willing to give on top. this way they could assure that the crazy millionaire super-fan pays them a bazillion dollar for a sd-card, while the mere mortals know how many days they have to starve to gain the networth needed to make a purchase.

i'm really surprised CHEETAHT7 Teac didn't make it to the top 10.

as someone who has paid for every colundi release (+ early adopter and bought the cd/dvd for 1+2) .. i am finding it pretty upsetting to be left in the dark for level 9 while people who donated $x for a block of land i have 0 interest in / 0 benefit from / 0 idea where the money would actually go, get to enjoy the new music. if buying the albums as they come out isn't a sign of being a supporter,.... ???

This is out for a month, i picked it up (i highly recommend it) but it seems like WATMM missed this fine Collarboration with Budapest-based Gabor Lazar:
also listen to this absolutely lush track (not associated with this album, but also by mark fell):

For a second there I thought I was having a stroke when trying to read this last page in the this thread, there seems to be some editing going on :P
Thats not the case, you should really for a second!

damn i wish i could listen to this properly....i bought all the pyhsical mental union and colundi sequence levels (except for the wire recording, i was too slow); but i really digital releases, i will never buy one...i really want to throw my money at aleksi but i want to spin a record!

my least favourite level....it lacks the harmonic complexity of level 4 or the blissful warmth of level 6.
to me, level 7 sounds a bit like outtakes from the previous stuff.
it is more melodic, indeed, which makes it more accessible, but it sounds a little bit simple-minded compared to the previous stuff.

tracks 2, 3 and 5 on colundi level 6 are so close to perfection that i was actually able to reach level 6.

we are talking about swag, aren't we?
he even got a tatoo on his arm saying "swag", he obivously got his swag on.

listening to this on my technics rs-az6 tape deck that i had stashed away for 10 years.
I'm absolutely amazed by the sound quality of this tape.
i'm going fully colundi here..

my copy has arrived.
this is really super uplifting stuff, like a playground for frequencies. it is amazing how aleksi is able to create wonderful musical tracks regarding they are based on sequences.

it isn't catchy
you must have the wrong song dude.
i don't. just gave it another listen, it's still a super weak track.
as joshuatx stated, it sounds like a mediocre justice single...
and again, i'm most probably the biggest dp-fanboy here on watmm. i cannot understand how you can defend this track.
-
....tbh, i was always a huge daft punk fanboy who owns almost all dp-related releases (even alive 1997, the crydamoure compilations and the albums by alan braxe and fred falke) and i have to admit that get luck is really such a weak track. i feel absolutely nothing and im heavily disappointed by this track. it isn't catchy, it isn't interesting, i hate the singing by pharell, there's nothing special abut the beat, it doesn't have the trademark 909 sound of dp....get lucky could be a track produced by avicii or afrojack or timbaland. it's just horrible. if the rest of the album is similar, this is going to be a massive pile of horseshit, as one in here said before.

i think it's a sure bet to predict that the tracks with dj falcon, todd edwards will be the best. nice to see they work with their old friends.
one half of daft punk & dj falcon made this track:

daft punk & chilly gonzales had also an officialy released track:
