Most of these are horribly compressed, but you get the general idea...

I've got some really great one's of people (friends and family) but don't think they would appreciate it. Lol!

This reminds me I really should take more pictures. I can't remember things otherwise.

  2.

I'd really like to see a Mouse on Mars subforum also. Make it so! :nyan:

You revived this long-dead thread to ask for that, especially in light of the other Mouse on Mars subforum request threads there's probably out there?

It came up through similar topics underneath or something. I got confused. Soz. :emb:

Incidentally I think you handled everything splendidly and I have a increased respect for you.

  3. I just bought a brand new reissue of the Smashing Pumpkins vinyl Siamese Dream, but Urban Outfitters saw fit to put not only a bit sticky as fuck price tag label on it but also a "oh shit that's never coming off unless I ruin the sleeve" electronic tag label on. GRRRR!!!

Plus I'm stuck in tonight as my siblings are not available and going out on your own here is pants. Meh!

  4. i was debating buying Cloud Atlas the other day... no good? i haven't seen the film.

I thought it was medicore at best. Given the choice to undo that decision I would just watch the film.

Only 3 hours of my life would have been wasted then.

  5. um...the idea of the "space race" was the race to the moon. Never heard anyone deny Gagarin's space in the history books (not to mention Sputnik and Laika the space hound)

No it wasn't it was the first into space!!! No one's ever denied it but it is conveniently ignored.

"The Space Race was a mid-to-late 20th century competition between the Soviet Union (USSR) and the United States (USA) for supremacy in space exploration. Between 1957 and 1975, the Cold War rivalry between the two nations focused on attaining firsts in space exploration, which were seen as necessary for national security and symbolic of technological and ideological superiority."

"When the flight was publicly announced, it was celebrated around the world as a great triumph, not just for the Soviet Union, but for the world itself, though it once again shocked and embarrassed the United States.[53]"
