    I think these two tracks are probably among my favourites out of all of the dump. Fantastic!!!

     

     

     

    It may have been mentioned 234 pages back but I reckon the track "Sally vinago" is how the question "salt and vinegar?" Was asked at a fish and chip shop. Said fast it sounds like how it would be said it Dublin anyway.

    I could believe it. Round here it comes out more like "Sore finger?", at least in the Chinese owned places.

     

    Listening to Ssnb and Ssba, I could easily imagine this coming out as an EP all those years ago. Crazy to think we may only be hearing this sort of thing because of a random burst of generosity.

    Yeah, this is my favorite wave so far.

    same, pretty much put up my 3 favorite unreleased tracks of his + others i was totally not expecting, cottage E was a huge surprise. wonder how much other stuff he has like that , also loved 179 brk 2

    Hate to say it, but have heard Syro only 5 times, haven't heard it for two weeks and I haven't had any urge to hear it again...

    Exactly this.

    I love some of the tracks in it, but I have over 1k tracks to listen to... no time left for multiple listens.

    And I don't really feel the urge either, iunno, it's odd.

    Admittedly, after I wrote that I forcefully put on Syro and really enjoyed it, even to such a degree that I played it three times in a row and was humming some parts constantly at a party that night. But after that I still had hardly any urge to hear it again (but when I do...!). Like you said, there's so much good stuff to listen to. We are really spoiled basically :)
    I had exactly the same experience but with Druqks when it came out. Was such a massive disappointement after all the classic 90's albums. I liked it but it was blah. Took me maybe 5-10 years to fully appreciate it for what it is and to detach myself from the initial disappointment. Syro on the other hand is the album I was expecting when Druqks came out so it was an instant love affair.

    Drukqs blew me away when I first heard it and Syro was an instant hit for me.

    Loving this album!!! From beginning to end, it's such a joy to listen to. I seem to be favouring the second half at the moment and s950tx16wasr10 (earth portal mix) is my favourite. Right from the first play I thought this is going to be one of my favs.

     

    I can see me playing Syro to death!

     

    Nice one Richard. Looking forward to more.....

    Someone should setup a countdown timer for the release of Syro, would it use too much bandwidth to put it on the front page?
