  1. A fan named Brebs tweeted, “Do you hate being in Tool? Are you only doing the record because you guys are signed for it? Thoughts?”

Keenan responded from his Puscifer account, “Stfu.”

A fan named Mike Steele tweeted, “I was just listening to the song Right In Two. Take it for what’s worth. I really hope you guys can work through your issues. No matter how frustrating the process may be, there will never be a band to make music the way the four of you guys do.”

Keenan responded on his Puscifer account, “Or maybe its not that bad. And you shouldnt worry about.”

  2. Delicious juicy pale ale.  Hoof Hearted - "Thanks for letting us play tonight."

I've been pretty burned out on NE style ipas, but this was impressive. Drank like an IPA/DIPA in mouthfeel, but light in the abv @ 5.5%

Gotta seek out more from this brewery.

  3. uh-oh

A fan named Odysseas Kripotos tweeted Keenan, “It looks like there is not much communication between the four of you.”

    Maynard responded, “No shit.”

Another fan named ACrowleybeast recently tweeted Maynard, “I know that when I am forced to linger on a book longer than I would like to, I feel like the character’s are on life support, and I am ready to come to a conclusion! How does it feel as a musician when it comes to a project that is incomplete for longer than u would like?”

Maynard responded, “Like a slow death.”

Tool fans on Twitter recently said Maynard James Keenan was the reason that the band’s new album isn’t done yet, and he shot back with a clever tweet.

    E.G.Mcnaughton tweeted, “Man, #JustinChancellor is a Fucking Beast!!! Man I can’t wait But happiness comes to those who wait. Right? Soon…@Tool @AdamJones_tv @EvilJoeBarresi @mjkeenan @puscifer #DannyCarey @LYONNESSE9.”

David Sharp responded, “He’s amazing. @Tool is amazing. Looking forward to new stuff in 2019 from them…finally….hopefully ”

Derek W then tweeted, “shhhhhhhh…dont jinx it..”

David Sharp tweeted back, “oh I know. Sorry. However No more walking on eggshells… I heard they’re getting closer to finishing so it’s time to lay the vocals and hopefully get touring.”

Keenan responded, “Seriously? Still blaming me. #whileyouwerewhiningiwasworking.”

  4. Interestingly, a fan named Chuck then tweeted Keenan asking if Tool could release the new album as a surprise on a random Friday without any advertisement or promotion.

“I feel like the album is just going to drop on some random Friday with no warning or promo and we are all just going to lose our minds.”

    Keenan responded, “No.”

  5. Stigmata - The most 90's film ever, I'm open to hear anything moreso but suspect it dont exist.

Maybe Trespass...especially when you take the soundtrack into account.

Hahaha. sorry wrong movie. Was thinking Judgement Night. My bad.

  6. Keenan tweeted, "Update- Final vocals tracked MONTHS ago. Then U.S.-UK-Euro run w #APC. If Tool all inst are tracked, long process of Mixing now. Meanwhile write/film/track w @puscifer for #puscifer2020 & troll the band FBs with wine posts. #funnyshit #whileyouwerewhiningiwasworking"

  7. Michigan went pretty blue in the important positions. That may bold well for the upcoming election in 20'. Especially in my home area of Macomb County. I figured nationally, it would stay red. Which was mostly the case.

I have to admit, I was more concerned about government on a local level & my school mileage. Luckily that all worked out so I can  just go back to being condescending to my neighbors minus the rage.

  8. ... true. But... I would say that the family drama is pretty dark and quite realistic, at times. Having said, beyond some legitimately creepy horror stuff, the realistic family drama is what really works about it. What’s more, it isn’t manipulative or sensationalistic.

The cast is fantastic and the script/performances/direction is as good as it could possibly be in a genre show like this.

    100% worth anyone’s time.

I hear you. It's definitely not schmaltzy like some major network show. That is for sure. So no, not manipulative imo. But it doesn't go to say the depressed viewing that "The Killing" was. Kid murdering and that effected the family & shit.

Like I said earlier, there's some great sequences. The funeral home lone camera tracking shot for like 20+ minutes was very well done. Kudos.

  9. This Is Us banged a haunted house and had a baby = Haunting of Hill House

I wouldn't say it's all that dark compared to other shit out there. 1/2 gothic horror (no gore) / 1/2 family drama.

My wife is watching it & she is not down with horror at all.

But, it shits all over AHS if that's of any worth. At least so far, I got 3 episodes left.
