  1. Here we go. imminent...

Ivonna Cadaver recently sent out a tweet that excited Tool fans. She wrote a few days ago, “Bowl for Ronnie! @PinzBowling w/Adam Jones @Tool New Album coming out any day now! Interviews in new episodes to come on #MacabreTheatre @AdrenalinePR SOLD OUT EVENT! Interviews to die 4 @YoutooAmerica 10pm ET eve Sat night #horror #Halloween2018.”

She has now followed up this tweet by quoting exactly what Adam Jones told her, and what Jones said indicates the album will be done in 2018.

A fan asked her, “Any day now?”

She responded, “This tweet struck true controversy! I have been working on new episodes, events, content. I couldn’t answer all! I can now! Adam’s words to me ‘it should be DONE any day now’. I said ‘I can’t wait, man’ he said ‘believe me neither can we’. Sincere. @Tool”

  2. Got three more episodes of Haunting of Hill House to go. I agree, for Netflix, it's a pretty solid show. A kinda gothic "This is Us" meets haunted house mash-up. Episode 6 in the funeral home may have been a standout as far as production goes. To film that long of a tracking shot was pretty brilliantly choreographed. Having to run the adult/kid actors in and out and not miss a beat with any fuck-ups was well done. Look forward to finishing it off. I got to get to Channel Zero's latest.

    lol.

Back to the vvitch. I thought the actor who played the brother did a phenomenal job in his death throws having his visions and such.

It was a wonky flick for the most part though. Enjoyed it, but found a lot of it inadvertently hilarious.

  4. Just watched hereditary broken up over 3 sessions (inflight entertainment... pretty crazy that's an option really)

I really liked it . I thought it was cast very well

... Colette .. was good but dunno .. either I was out of the film or it seemed at times a bit overdone

.. the boy ... thought he was really good for 99% of the film except when he was crying like a little baby or saying mummy. Now I can't say I've ever been in his exact situation but I dunno , I don't think 17 year olds go "waaaa waaaa" when they're scared - but again - haven't been in his exact situation so maybe it was appropriate

    8/10

I thought Colette was pretty great. That dinner table scene when she blows the fuck up on her son was pretty damn brutal.

It got hokey during some of the seance shit I guess. But overall, thought she was strong.

The teenage crying was awful. Director should have shot a couple more takes. Again, during the one seance scene towards the end. It was a tense scene that ended up with me loling at the terrible crying.

  5. Basically the major plot point was Jimmy becoming Saul Goodman. Kinda a bland season for me minus some really strong scenes here & there.

I assume Gene (Jimmy, Saul) is gonna do what he always has done & follow his nature to take the situation into his own hands, good or bad. Whatever that is...we shall see.

Thought the Kim/Jimmy fight scene was a little...unbelievable?

Yea, basically done to move the story. It didn't feel right. But, I've never really bought their relationship as a couple. It's been my biggest drawback with the show.

100 emoji. It isn't even a good platonic sell because most friends will have more physical contact just by accident than these 2.

I'm also out altogether on the show. The AMC app and their web streaming site were fucking up on me so I got behind. I got the kinks worked out and began catching up but goooodddddddaaaaaaaammmnnnnnnnnn is this show slow. I abandoned it somewhere after the piñata scene even though everything was working fine.

I might regret it because there's some enjoyable parts for sure and I really liked seasons past. I can't hang on this pacing anymore though.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still in the "I love it" camp minus their bunk relationship. I don't mind slow burn narratives if the acting, cinematography are humming. Which I still think is the case, minus the contrived scenarios this season. One thing this show is sadly missing is Michael McKean. I know, he's dead. But, he brought a lot to the show that I didn't realize until now.

In the UK there is a chain of pubs called Wetherspoons, famed for selling cheap pints and frequented by the elderly and those "between jobs". Each pub has a carpet unique to it that is supposed to reflect the area and have a bit of its history woven into its design. A man wrote a book about the carpet in each of these pubs which my mum stumbled upon in a shop, and she was so infuriated that with all the troubles in the world this was what someone chose to expend their energy on that she almost wrote the author a strongly-worded letter. I imagine I feel a bit like her after reading that paragraph.

Need some BCM selfies with said carpet asap.

    pretty sweet

  8. Watched the first season of Channel Zero. Surprisingly entertaining the whole time, I honestly didn’t think SyFy had it in them to still make decent quality work.

It's the best horror show on cable. Ain't saying much I guess.

The last one was pretty deece. Butchers block or something...The new one starts late October.
