  1. ^^ the twist is that m night used the money he got from after earth to make this film :w00t:

It is pretty damn amazing he still keeps getting jobs. Must have pictures of somebody. Real nasty ones.

I thought airbender was his lowest point though. He butchered a great toon. Although, to be fair, to do that live action would be a feat by anyone I gather. Still complete shite.

  2. ^^ i think they wanted it to be more like evil dead because there are moments where the audience is supposed to be genuinely scared, but like chucky, would you find the idea of a killer puppet scary? this is about an old couple (especially the nana who's pretty mental but in a very funny way). there are also two hysterically funny scenes and the eclipse any horror supplied before or after

favorite scene was when the granddaughter finds pop pop with a shotgun in his mouth as he's about to pull the trigger and he goes "i was cleaning it, i swear". i just about lost it.

the other funny scene is when the granddaughter is trapped in the room with the grandma and she's doing the funny thing with her hands from under the bed. for some reason i thought it would be interesting if you tried to play that clapping hand game girls (used to?) play at school. oh and the scene where the grandson gets the diapers smeared on his face "you don't like germs huh?" SMEAR

    The twist...awesome or not?

Let me guess, the mom blames the kids for her failed marraige. Sends the kids to her batshit parents house hoping they get killed, while see enjoys her kickass tropical vacation...

  3. It's probably not going to stay cancelled for long, they'll either do another season for Amazon (or maybe Starz), a movie is a possibility too

I don't know. Sounds pretty dead, most the big names have passed. There's a movie rumor. But, since it got canceled for shite ratings, I don't know how'd they would justify making a movie.

As far as I'm concerned it ended fine, especially basically with...(don't read if you have'nt seen finale)

Hannibal & Will are pretty much alive & about to dine on Bedelia's leg. (however the fuck they survive a cliff fall bleeding out is beyond me...maybe lady whats her name saved em...)

I don't need to see anymore of the Willibal bromance.

  4. Started watching Hannibal se3, for some reason it's lost me. Looks as good as ever but I'm bored to tears. Did the show go up it's own arse? Was I just in the wrong mood? Time may tell.

The series finale final act was pretty gruesome. Out of all your weapon choices, knives always get me cringey.

The season is strange, but some quality episodes in there. A lot more dark humor in the second half. (Hannibal has some quality lines.)

The show is definitely up it's own arse, but worth the watch imo.

I have always wanted to cut someone out of some railings with an angle grinder.

That would be the ultimate feelgood day.

Why is she wearing that tiny little blue top hat?

I don't understand. it looks like if she'd just twist to the side she could pull her head out.

The question remains: Why'd she put her head through that rung? without knocking her blue hat off? Why...how...?

  6. Season 2 of The Knick starts in October. Really looking forward to it because the first season took me by surprise.

By the way, does anyone actually like American Horror Story? I've watched all of it so far and it's so bad. The acting is atrocious and the music... oh gawd!

It's a show I hate watch unfortunately. I want to punch that evan peters guy in the face repeatedly & unrepentantly. seriously, screw that guy.

I tend to like their title sequences though.

  7. Might have been a cool place to have a tiger though, part of the rewilding of the central northern belt starting with detroit.

I assume that's what the photographer was going for. There are parts of Detroit that are very much the meaning of "urban jungle".

  8.

question is, if Robot is dead, who the hell was the crew (and the Swede in the latest episode, in the limo) talking to?

I got a feeling its gonna go total fightclub. Mr. Robot is Elliot, his manifestation of his "hyper-feeling, extraverted" personality. That contradicts the Elliot we know as of now, the shy-impersonal, introverted twat. The other scenes with just Slater are done just to fuck with the audience & make it seem like an awesome twist...when really, it's done just sloppily. Like: Have Slater go visit his old comrade growing weed to make the audience think it's a real, separate person. When really, it should have been Elliot sticking the gun in his face. Another thing, Elliots aversion to the gun being given to him by his *ahem* sister would lend his alter ego "Mr. Robot" persona having no issues with violence. Who knows though, I've only seen a few episodes & missed the first few.

  9.

Mr. Robot - Little gross twist ending there. (missed first few episodes, so don't know if it was established...twist for me I gather)

i found it interesting, but it really rips off dexter.

stopped watching this a few weeks ago but:

let me guess, christian slater is elliot's dad and is dead. also, i'm guessing at one point elliot is going to figure out he was adopted.

let me guess, christian slater is elliot's dad (Yes) and is dead (think so). also, i'm guessing at one point elliot is going to figure out he was adopted (not quite there yet).

But yea, the way they have been portrayed has been kinda easy trickery for the creators of the show to pull over on the audience. A weak version of the sixth sense when I think about it.If his dad is dead, which he probably is.

  10. Marco Rubio (GOP presidential candidate)

One of the loudest rounds of applause was for Marco Rubio when he mocked Hillary Clinton, who leads the Democratic field.
"First let me say, I think God has blessed us. He's blessed the Republican Party with some very good candidates. The Democrats can't even find one."

The last sentence is true, but the rest is.....well.....picard facepalm
