  1. I dreamed Bob Odenkirk, in his Jimmy McGill character, was making out with three young girls on the backseat of a hummer, and one of the girls turned out to be a male. My dad drove the hummer and I got shotgun. We came up on a single way bridge that cars from the other side kept engaging unto despite us obviously driving on it. Everytime we got face to face with another car, my dad told them to "fuck off, sons of bitches" which I remember was upsetting me.

  2. Finally beat XCOM 2!!! Just barely. Took down the last enemy Avatar with my own Commander's Avatar, but by a missed shot with my psionic repeater resulting in the enemy Avatar catching fire. It was already being whittled down with Acid damage from an Andromedon I MC'd earlier, all while my own Avatar and soldiers were getting overwhelmed by aliens surrounding them. Hell of a finish.

I know this will get drowned out by WATMM's ever-pervasive DS and BB hype. But I know at least two other members mentioned XCOM 2 nearly a month ago. And just when I was on the verge of quitting, I decided to give it one more go. Guess I never truly gave up, and it paid off.

No, congrats, finishing XCOM is kind of a big deal tbh

  3. I had a very hopeful job interview on Tuesday, where the two interviewers actually spent more time presenting the company, the things I'd do, the tools I'd use, the various benefits of working there, etc than asking me questions. Sounded more like a formality meet up than a "test" to be honest, which I found surprising and confidence-boosting.

Turns out I got the final answer today saying I didn't get the job.

    I hope they never release a HL3.

It'll never live up to our expectations. Ever.

Same can be said of any game now, cos gamers these days are hard to please. Even when Valve does release it, you'd still be under no obligation to buy it.

What's worse, firmly believing that it won't live up to our expectations or being disappointed by the actual release ?

  5. Yeah, cinematographic would be a good description. No replayability. There are some minor changes depending of your choices in some dialogues but nothing extraordinary. Still I really liked it, there's quite a unique ambiance that's grown on me ever since I finished it.

I would say it's worth paying 20$ as a support for this kind of game-making, but next time they'd better put deliver more content!
