I want a movie with this soundtrack and where the album art is a screenshot.
I love where Lustmord takes you.

How is this record making me feel intensely nostalgic while also sounding fresh as shit.

Country Garden sounds a whole lot like a Plaid collabo. Neat.

Nasty bass-and-acid half-tempo paired with electro-techno-break workouts.
No joke. This is some sludgy acid booty shake outside of AF's normal comfort zone. Dig.
Full digitals available now it looks like.

yes!
Agreed!
Kind of surprised to not see more chatter about this. It's a thick slice of refined electro.

Sounds like it keeps pace with Acid Arcana, which was keen.

Dang, this slams.

Very solid album. It made me start digging through the digicrates and I'm now really enjoying Tundra I-VII... just my brand of desolation.

Strong acid indeed.

Also enjoying World of the Waking State. I am finding that consistency is the name of Steffi's game.

Highly recommend those Dolly Deluxe ep comps too.
Wait wait, why is there not a whole thread about these EPs? Ugh, so good.

Oh wow, this is transporting.
Are we still saying lush? This is really lush.

Mings Feaner, Faex has Decimated, and Voynich Manuscript are all pretty great - the last of those is quite different stylistically, more of a dark ambient sort of vibe. Totally worth it singing up for Mr. Funcken's subscription on bandcamp, even if for just a little while to pick up the large amount of quality back catalog stuff.

Beautifully understated album from UK underground legend, Russ Gabriel. Much more 'electronic' than his last album. Quality all the way through.
Underground legend, you say. I request enlightenment...

Lorn wrote on discord, that this album will have 30+ track(WTF????!!!), so it will be released...in future. Maybe years. Periphery will be his last album, but after PERI he will be still releasing music but not albums, he mean probably EPs.
Um, okay.

I didn't have high hopes, but this is quite good.
It feels like a concession that his true skill is using samples and textures that convey a certain kind of quiet, hazy intimacy. His earlier releases combined that with beats that caught the moment, but ultimately he's a bit of a rhythmic one-trick pony perhaps (much as I kept half wanting Antidawn to drop a good bunn dadunkadun bok). I enjoy how Antidawn lets the sounds move in and out of focus without feeling like they need to fill minutes of beat-driven track – which ultimately makes it feel quite fast moving for all of its sparseness.
I'll concede that these are good vapors, and the play length really does fly by.
