This thread is a salt mine, album will smash.

I hope the album is better then this track. I like arcas music alot and really want it to be good, but I just can't get into this shit.

    old arca > new arca.

Does anyone even disagree with this? Her new stuff is decent, but she'll never top &&&&&, stretch, xen, etc. The self titled album really marked a dramatic shift in tone and sound, that in my opinion, was not for the better.

  3. Woooooow this is shit. Hope the rest of the album doesn't sound like this. So obnoxious lmfao.

Love Arca, and support her transition, but this shit is really annoying. ?

It took me a bit to warm up to her last 2 releases, maybe I'll warm up to this aswell.

I was a bit worried as the early press releases mentioned him going "pop"

His albums have been getting poppier and poppier with each subsequent release. Started with a few tracks on serpent music, continued on Safe In The Hands of Love, and now with this new one It's very noticeable. I'm a fan but also hesitant. I wonder how far he can push it while still having an unique edge.

  5. Here's my personal opinion right now. Tracks with a ❤️ I liked, tracks without it I didn't.

I'd say he definitely had the singles as the best songs, which is kinda disappointing. That's the issue with releasing that many singles off a short album. He probably should have stuck to just 1 or 2 singles instead of the 4 he ended up releasing.
