I like brostep.
I like the name brostep too.
It perfectly encapsulates what the subgenre is all about. Headbanging, gunfingers in the air, and cheap beer specials.
This describes the event where I was last night. I mean exactly.
I had to go home afterward and listen to some really gay house music just to balance it out.

I bought a lot of records today, but this was the best. $5.

Going to the local annual record convention in the morning to blow even more cash.

My last splurge for a few paychecks:
Young Jazz Rebels - Slave Riot - 2xLP
Whitefield Brothers - Earthology - 2xLP
FAZE-O - Breakin The Funk - 1979
Sylvester - Step II - 1978
Friends of Distinction - Whatever - 1970
Con Funk Shun - Fever - 1983
Donald Byrd - Donald Byrd's Best - 1976 (Blue Note)
Grover Washington Jr - Mister Magic - 1974
Grover Washington Jr - Paradise - 1979
Brothers Johnson - Out Of Control - 1984
I have that Donald Byrd album. Wouldn't mind coming across some of those you have listed.

im seeing easily 200 dollar payloads here
I buy vinyl cheap - usually $3 to $5 bucks for an old LP. Occasionally I will DJ said vinyl for some cash and buy more vinyl.
A real job helps too.

Found this for three bucks.

All digital music is created using 1s and 0s....what is the appeal of vinyl playback?
The records I posted weren't recorded digitally.
Most of the records I find are cheaper than they'd be on CD or mp3, and still sound better.

I heard Flim on the Weather Channel last night, while they were doing my area's local forecast.

Last Night a DJ Saved my Life

They overlap a little.

I've had these a few years. They still look nice, but I know they're going to fall apart soon.

What's this record all about? Van McCoy is probably my favorite soul producer/songrwriter from '60s and '70s (along with Holland Dozier Holland), but sometimes he has a bit of cheese, i.e. "The Hustle."
Here are some of my recent finds.
