  1. "Nanou2" plays towards the end of the Shane Meadows film Dead Man's Shoes.

I watched this movie before I knew Aphex Twin, awesome.

no offense but what are you like, 12 years old?

I was obviously not being serious when I said 'awesome'? What's your point?

  2. They used quite a bunch of electronic music / electronic music for a documentary from

Gerard Maximin called Faces about the Israeli and the Palestinian people.

A track from 26 Mixes for Cash

    DJ Shadow - Organ Donor

    Paul Kalkbrenner - Since 77

    Brett Longman - Raining Room

    etc etc.

  3. fuck yes, one of my favourite tracks.

the rubbery hammering straight from the start keeps you hooked until it brings in those Looney tunes-style rapid wooden sounds for 3 minutes of madness. Then it fades into a wonky metallic jam that trips over itself and warps into nightmarish ambient clicks, then eases itself out into pure robo hop for the final section.

    10 fantastic minutes.

It does sound similar to a Looney tune, well put  Very good though, love the second melody a bit more though, the one that comes up around 5:43, it's like you're making it up yourself, like it's not really there. Stuff you sometimes have with tracks when this is really the case.

  4. I forgive them for all other tracks on Quaristice when I give the first track a listen. Not that the others are all bad mind you.

The ambient tracks are good mostly, including WNSN.

  5. LP5's got Rae, dude lol.

Have you heard the a cappella version? It's amazing.

No, I tried to look for it but I can't seem to find a link that is not dead. Do you know where I can find it perhaps? Thanks.

  6. I never got into LP5. The only one that never grew on me... Strangely enough, I absolutely adore Envane, but LP5, though loved by everyone, just seems incredibly shallow and uninspired to me. EP7 was cooler, but they still took a surprising turn with the brilliant Confield. Weird.

    LP5's got Rae, dude lol.
