  1. Music Has The Right To Children is extremely mediocre to me. I'm sure that will upset EVERYONE ON HERE, but hey ho.

Anyway, really enjoying Gas thus far. I've heard it before but never fully/properly. I'm focusing on the first album for now and it's very enjoyable. Track 3 is my favourite atm. I accidently pressed repeat on track 3 (instead of repeat the whole album) the other day whilst tidying my apartment and I didn't even notice for about 40 mins. Funny.

I've listened to Zauberberg once and it sounded like it had a something to different to offer (in comparison to the first). I'm don't think I'm ready to move on from the first one yet though.

Looking forward to hearing Pop as I've read that's the "sunniest".

    Don't forget Königsforst.

  2.

Yeah I found those to be really interesting. Will have to look for more from this Slices dvd. Thomas Fehlmann seems like a really chill dude, haha.

An interview with Dylan Carlson (I think Adrienne Davies is in it at some point, don't remember) from the Hibernaculum DVD:

  3. It is a pretty remarkable album. Digging the Smile Sessions a lot too.

And upon looking at the last.fm profile I'd been using up until a few days ago, this is a more accurate top 25...

  5. Yeah I mean there's so many different styles and vibes with ambient music. Beyond that, some artists just stand out by their production, where the elements in a Carbon Based Lifeforms song, for example, sound cheap. Biosphere sounds nothing like Taylor Deupree, for instance, even in mood. Different approaches in sound design, composition, etc., just like any genre.
