  1. Yeah, that was a face melting moment seeing them live, and it's cool that it's present in all the sets and usually preceded by that dope wet farty bass tune.

  2. Yeah I would say almost everything they release divides fans to some degree, but I haven't seen a word of negativity regarding these.

drillkicker said it was "the worst thing sam & ron have ever done" or something

  3. I listened to some of this stuff and I' don't see what sets it apart from the average Joe Everyman soundcloud track apart from the Warp marketing hype machine. The tunes & videos just seem like more of the same vapid millenial nostalgia wank that's been trendy for the last decade and aren't particularly interesting from a composition/aesthetics/sound design perspective.

  4. I DJ'ed a halloween party on Saturday and someone gave me acid and as the acid kicked in I started playing more & more Clark & Autechre (started the night out with normie beats). Around 5am I wanted to get some food and chill for a bit (at this point I had been DJ'ing since about 9pm) so I put AE Dublin on. Me & the other folks on acid were freaking the fuck out at how awesome it is, one badass redhead was dancing her ass off to most of the set (and was dancing to the individual AE & Clark tracks earlier), while a few drunk-not-high folks suffered some kind of mental & physical breakdown from the set.

Awesome night. Would totally do it all over again but take twice as much acid. Also I played IDM all through the missing 2am-2am daylight savings hour, while on acid, which was pretty badass.

  5. create new studio, jam out tracks, make album, tour

I feel like this is the future of electronic music in general, tbh. Making an album every few years is a very 1960s-record-industry form of music distribution and with the rise of DJ/dance culture I could see the album format generally dying and live performance (which is even easier now with computers & modern tech) being the focus.

  6. someone was binge watching season 2 with me and seemed fully on board until we got to this episode

That bit was brilliant on multiple levels... It's a great idea as a motivational tool and was actually shown to work, but then the things people didn't want to be sent out to the recipients were still filmed and broadcast on national television. Pure lols.

The one that really got me hooked on the show was the giant pet store advertisement tombstone in the pet cemetary. I was in tears laughing at the reveal of that.
