  1. I've come to notice that EVERY Wednesday I feel low for the whole day. This doesn't affect any other day but it really gets to me because I don't seem to be able to snap out of it. Today I'm going over in my head my inability to find a different job with more money while also thinking that I'm not either A) studying enough, or B) building myself a decent portfolio.

     

    I can't get over how much I fucking hate Wednesdays.

     

    I've always felt that Wednesday is the worst day of the week, Monday gets a bad rap but because it's Monday you can generally spend the morning not doing any actual work and just drinking coffee.

     

    I mean I do that on Wednesdays too but I feel worse about it. Well, not really.

     

    Fucking Wednesday.

     

    Wednesdays are the middle-finger of the week

  3. I'm not going to approach the kind of depression that psychiatrists call a chemical imbalance. You are a human being and are never broken, you are just the way nature made you.

     

    Not entirely true, every person has a unique physiological composition. In my case, a couple of tests reveal that I'm unable to naturally retain sufficient levels of zinc and magnesium for optimum neurotransmitter production (incl. the natural 'happy' chemicals). No biggie, since I'm able customize the intake of nutritional supplements to suit my particular needs. I'm lucky that depression is so easily avoidable by doing something so damn simple

     

    If you're serious about treating depression that you thinks more than just environmental conditions, shitty diet & lifestyle etc. there's perhaps a goods chance it's to do with your biochemical makeup and this is readily treatable. Fuck drugs - unless they are produced lovingly by your brain on it's own accord. You might just need to nudge your body a little in the right direction so it's closer to "nature's best intentions"

     

    Find a good shrink who isn't a drug-pusher, and get some blood/piss tests done to see if there's more to the story. Worked wonders for me

    Btw does anyone know who this track is by, I posted in the 'Rate the above music' thread aswell. Randomly stumbled across it on soundcloud and have had it on my mp3-player for like a month. God knows why I didn't follow the artist, or why my web history won't yield. The filename didn't match the title from the page (remember that much), plus there's no ID3 tags for bloody sake.
