Meanwhile i have upped this one: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MB5KFWM5 It has the two sides of the tape split into the 15 tracks and a cover artwork i did with the title 'Bits' in homage to the 'Bytes' that TBD did in the 90's.
Is this new version mastered/boosted/anything at all? Or just split with artwork?

KY - I have the Ikea Expedit 2x5 and it's solid. I think the larger 5x5 models have issues if not mounted due to the bigger inner area. The 2x5 isn't going to collapse. Just make sure to tighten things down correctly during assembly!

I was checking out what appears to be their latest "The Album" on Rephlex.com
How would you say this album, as their most recent output, stacks up against their previous work?
Previous to now all I've ever heard was Diagram VII (80's mix) on Braindance Coincidence.

When I investigate an artist for the first time I usually start with their first release and work my way up chronologically. Thought I'd try something different and ask around to see what the general consensus was regarding their strongest release or what might be the best representation of their sound.

For those of you lamenting the lack of beats in Oversteps, I've begun working on a release called "(Undercuts-"

Pretty awesome. Will be keeping tabs on this.

If Quaristice is aquatic, Oversteps is more terrainian (I don't think that's even a word, but you catch my drift).
Os Veix3 is among my top 3, if not my favorite track. It's like walking across the surface of Mars, surrounded by rocks, spikes, and gaseous mini geysers, bouncing and erupting all around you like waveforms in rhythm with your step. Desolate and solitary, but not depressing. Wish it would go on longer. This album is an exploration for sure. New territory with familiar elements, and I'm enjoying it. Can't wait for full quality audio.

Yes, fol4 is a masterpiece for sure. Did you not even like the chunk from Perlence Range 7 where the snares dance around your head like little tiki men with tiki masks and little hawaiin tutus that are short enough that you can see their junk dangling to the beat?

Went on a hike up in the Santa Monica mountains here in coastal California and it was awesome. Not quite the lush green views you guys have over there across the pond... more desertscapes over here. Oversteps would have made a nice soundtrack.
