    'ere's something new:

    Enjoy!

    wow.. this is really beautiful.

reminds me a bit of Jóhann Jóhannsson's sounds in some ways.

what do you use for all that spectral fuckery? sounds lovely.

    Very flattering, thanks!

It's pretty much just a Tele, and Old Blood Noise Dark Star and MurF overdubbed straight into the computer. Some minimal editing to create the intro and the "B" section.

    Glad you like it!

interesting! would have never guessed it was a tele before haha. that dark star pedal looks fun.

Neither would I, if I hadn't played it myself ;-)

Love this one man, seriously. Deep yet soft mood and atmosphere.

In other news, it just occurred to me that I hadn't check out your Bandcamp... some great stuff on there!

Very happy you like it! Thanks so much.

  4. ^thanks on reins, haven't thought about that track in a while. got some stuff in that vein that I've been sitting on and haven't completed, been slowly working on getting it done and released. one day. yeah, tenkiller does drag a bit after a while, I sorta zone out with it though. like I said I doubt i'll ever put it on anything official anyway. :)

demo/jam/quick thing that's alright, working on getting it refined but this is slightly interesting i guess

Great moodiness/cinematic vibes. Thanks for sharing!

Here's another mix incorporating the tune "Spoonfuls" (disquiet0369) [featuring bearp-aw + gentil, plus me on beats and ebow:

This is pretty cool, I like how he combined the different tracks by putting one on the left channel, one on right channel and one in the centre and glued them together with reverb. Works surprisingly well

I agree, he put in just the right amount of all the ingredients ;-)

  6. Hi guys thanks for taking a listen!

Here's a new pillowy listening object:

    Nice!

Reverb truly makes miracles happen sometimes :-)

Really ominous with those reverse sounds and how it just stays on one chord makes it more intense. Like this alot

sounds great! I thought the #exorcist ambient was a nice touch as well.

REALLY enjoyed Quietude. Very moody/melancholic and straight up LUSH work here. When you have a moment, would be interested to know how you achieve the textures here (and on other tracks). Feel like all your stuff has this really palpable thickness to the textures.

The Engaging Accompanist - interesting colllab. Still has that air of moodiness, but a little more uptempo. If I had my druthers/what I really want with this one is for some sort of heavy break to come in descending from the heaven like Thor's goddamn hammer about 1/2 way through. Personal preference only though!

    Hi T3551ER,

Thanks so much for your opinions! Very happy to share insights in due course (what are you keen on finding out about specifically?)

In the meantime, here are two new collabs based on Quietude:

    Enjoy!

Extra awesomesauce here! Quietude is (apparently) fertile soil!

So, let's take this track for example - the comment suggests you are using a looping pedal. So, are you playing a distorted/flanged guitar riff through, like, an ass-ton of reverb or something, then layering bits on top of that? What I like about this is that the textures all appear to be evolving, but not in a "random" sort of way. . . I also struggle with layering textures on top of one another and then having them muddle each other - so I'd be interested in how you manage to keep competing textures from "corrupting" one another.

    Hi T3551ER,

Sorry for not having replied yet, that's sort of how it works. I'll elaborate on the process soonish. Feel free to PM me, as well.

    Thanks!
