Not sure if it's new. I was following a link to a caribbean steel drum band playing Transmission by Joy Division. That was a pretty amazing cover too. Look for it.

The 2CD compilation Private Life: The Compass Point Sessions (came out in 1998) has this 8 minute version plus the 8 minute dub version.

 

It's pretty much all the Grace you need. Collects all the best shit she did with Sly and Robbie from 80-82 - mostly in unreleased longer rinsed out versions.

 

About half the tracks are covers of hip post punk/new wave tracks from that era - Pretenders, Roxy Music, Police, etc.

 

She also covers Smokey Robinson, Johnny Cash and Melvin Van Peebles.
