The online dating site? Should we assume the person that's willing to make an online dating profile is the average person? should we assume that people willing to make an online dating profile are abnormal? What is an "average person"? I'm not saying they're abnormal. Just saying that there's a much much smaller percentage of people that make those profiles than people who don't. So the data could be skewed one way or another. Normals by their very nature are normal, they define it. And the 'normal' human condition is very cliched, people cluster in their groups and bounce their group identity memes back and forth off one another in an endless feeback loop. It just is.
