Aleksi simply states that these releases are to him a representation of the vivid and evocative genre of Braindance. They are a natural progression from the familiar sounds of Ovuca and Astrobotnia but with his newer, more mature perspective. Aleksi has since continued his passionate and relentless production of music. To be expected in 2011 is a second ‘Boom Blaster’ EP and CD album and the eagerly anticipated ‘Mental Union 2’. All of this and Aleksi has moved to Cornwall [uK] and he asserts that 2010 has been another ‘premier cru’ year for his music with influence drawn from his Cornish experience so far. ~ ~ just as a reminder, from the recent interview with Grant Wilson-Claridge: I also have the dopest album by Aleksi Perälä which is mental sub bass and pure harmonics like mother nature’s dub. ~ ~ Always excited for new Aleksi!
