Guest placidburp Posted October 17, 2011 Share Posted October 17, 2011 I've kind of strolled off from the Acidburp stuff I was doing and have started a new project under the name 'Rat Faced Boy'. I will hopefully return to burpy eventually, but I've been much more productive since I started this project. Anyway, this is a track I'm working on at the moment, needs mixing (I'm aware that kick drum is WAY too loud) and I think some of the drum sounds need changing, and I'd like to build up the end part some more. http://soundcloud.com/acidburp/nodding-turtle this is another one I'm working on, I desperately need to sort those drums out, but I think its sounding good so far. http://soundcloud.com/acidburp/rat-faced-boy-lonesome-road And finally, this one is going to be on a project called 'Emergence' along with some very excellent artists. http://soundcloud.com/acidburp/ratfacedhar Do you think this is a good direction to go in? Going for the bassy wubby (but not dubstep!!) sort of sounds rather than trying to do mad drums, but still keeping the melodies.
