lets just talk about software synths, effects, and things

I know this thread has been done, still I want to make it for the focus of including ALL little creative software things that could be exploited for creativity!! Stuff like Metasynth, discussions of weird unique software effects, and weird sequencers. I just want to know about stuff I didn't know about before.

 

I bought Reaktor a long time ago but never really got into using it. recently I realized it's actually really fun to build little things and see what hapens. it's a huge creative tool, unforunately at the same time it can be extremely time consuming to figure out how things work, so that by the time you do, all your creative energy has gone away.

 

Also I've had trouble finding information about HOW to use it properly.

 

I figure you guysk now more than i do... this is just the start, even just discussions of Reaktor instruments/ensembles/effects..
