Bioshock Infinite Ending Disscusion *SPOILERS*

Just beat Bioshock Infinite and I finally understand why they chose "Infinite".

The only thing that sucks, is that when your dealing with infinite worlds, and people/versions of you, how does anything really get handled. Where exactly is he killing himself? And how does killing himself there prevent his evil self Comstock from doing his evil deeds in all other Worlds?

Also read that he was the 122nd Booker to try and defeat Comstock, does that just mean he is doing this infinitely Why Ratpure and what do they mean by constants and variables? God dam it so many questions. Also watching this they say that Booker is Andrew Ryan as well? WTF is the truth here.

yeah, from what I can tell, the story is just fucking nuts. This is what happens when you put people under too much stress/through too much crunch time. You get a Bioshock Infinite or a Matrix Revolutions (or whatever the 2 Matrix sequels were called). Desperate, tortured attempts at cosmic meaning.

 

(to be more serious I do like the *feel* of all the Bioshock games - alternate, warped versions of American history and "Americanism").

I havent played the game but I figure theres a metaphor between millions of people playing the same game all over the world (and all playing it slightly differently) and the plot-line of having infinite worlds. The gamers are helping those infinite worlds happen.
