I said fuck it as far as production for Ablum but now I'm trying to get more serious about production/sound design or something in the sense of making intensely MURKY stuff. Does lots of stuff with panning/inversion/filtering for one thing. This is all digital except for the drums which were originally from my Yamaha DD-5, which I guess the samples on that are digital anyway. Oh and the voice recording which was straight to USB interface?

but yeah trying to capture sort of fluttery cords of banada early afx twins music

This sounds sweet. I enjoy the simple effect of the feedback delay on the drums. A nice textural effect. Also the vocal samples are great. I don't hear much of BOC or AFX, just sounds original, so that's a good thing.

This is fantastic. I thought you peaked in terms of production ability on Ablum. But clearly you haven't hit your plateau yet.

Seminal.

The vocal loop bits clash in much too loud with the drums imo, emphasizing similar grating frequencies in both, but maybe that's the point? Not much of a track, but you could string all these short interludes into something more substantial.

yeah, I have a LOT of unfinished tracks but each one is a learning experience trying to erm, yeah, string them into something more substantial. Not actual sounds/samples directly (aphex "tuck/fuck" sound) but similar ways of patching synths together and stuff. Andy Pan/Pan Andy will probably be one of the finished tracks, really I just want to add more atmosphere to that one.

imo andy pan pan andy is a more developed version of hizza put is a more developed version of aram fingal is a more developed version of this track
