Got a wicked night laid out for you next month

NEIL LANDSTRUMM

has sustained a 20 year recording career, 10 albums and countless EPs on seminal labels Peacefrog, Sativae, Tresor, Planet Mu, Mosquito and more recently, Don't Recordings. This man has been a massive influence on the Don't 'sound' and has amassed a huge catalogue of released music over the years, each record instantly identifiable as a Landstrumm record with your eyes closed, yet each release different from the last. A rare thing indeed ! Neil played the first ever Don't party back in April 2012 to launch Don't 20 (Neil & Matt Whitehead) and what with a brand new album (Dragon under) and the most recent Don't 12" (Don't 024 - Trial EP) We at Don't thought it high time to invite him back again. The last few years have seen a resolute return to a complete 'Techno' sound for his live shows, an ever morphing extravaganza of basslines, bleeps and ultra dance floor movers - This one promises to include healthy doses of classic Landstrumm techno alongside brand new material . Do not miss this !!!

... More on the door

Support comes from

FEDKA THE IRRITANT

Fedka The Irritant is an exciting live techno performance, a melding of machines and trombones! The solo incarnation of Tom Marriott: a musician who is enjoying various and diverse musical ventures. He is primarily a Trombonist and a member of Ninja Tunes wild card Pest .

On stage, Tom has his Trombone wired up to many effects pedals and plays this live throughout his set, creating sumptuous and caustic sounds, which blend into his original compositions, all stitched together with the trusty Octotrack. Above all, Fedka's live show is most definitely designed to fill the dance floor. Creating a truly exciting and live atmosphere the combination of tough, rolling beats, the funky hooks and bluesy vocal samples, the wild electronic sounds and live trombone will appeal to both the avid electronic music connoisseur and the partial party goer alike.

Don't is proud to announce a return for Fedka.... He played once at the second party back in June 2012 and tore the house down despite us being in a different venue with a less than perfect soundsystem... He has a growing string of releases on the Horror Boogie label and here's his latest on Luke's Anger's Bonus Round, released today !

And Djs on the night

THATBOYTIM

Thatboytim has been playing electro, bass, wonk, techno, funk and beyond in his adopted home of Dublin for the past 13 years - from bars to raves, festivals, and even supported the Orb earlier this year.

He ran the now defunct Takeover Records (http://takeoverrecordings.bandcamp.com/) over this period, and currently can be found hosting The Continuum; Saturday afternoons fortnightly on www.future-music.co.uk and co-hosting "Bop Gun" - an event exploring the funk/time continuum- from JB to UR !!

2014 sees Tim making the move to London so what better way to welcome him to the smoke than by throwing him straight on at the Valentines Don't party where he shall be heating things up for the first two hours! So be sure to arrive in time to get your mood set right !

JEROME HILL

Your host for this evening playing only vinyl

Jerome got his turntables in 1990 after being inspired by the pirate radio sounds of London. He began buying hip hop, house, breakbeat and early european techno . In 1994 he hooked up with infamous London soundsystem "JIBA" and further honed his scratching and mixing style for which he has now become known. Jerome has always followed his own musical path , constantly sniffing out exciting new (and old) tracks to add to his sets while never paying attention to current trends.

Jerome runs his own label DON'T ( www.dont-recordings.com ) since 2000, releasing maverick techno music and is resident dj at UGLYFUNK, now based in london whilst regularly playing around the world.

He managed London`s "Trackheads" and "Dragon Discs" record shops in Camden Town for 7 years and is half of GROOVE ASYLUM, (the other half being Rob Stow).

THE DEXORCIST

Was brought up on 80's Electro, Hip Hop and Miami Bass, graduating to Acid House, Bleeps, Techno and beyond. Heavily influenced by the legendary RIP parties at Clink street and other warehouse events around London's then shady east end wastelands.

During the early 90's he helped form the excellently named FEAR TEACHERS sound system, which morphed through various incarnations including KDU, before ending up as the also brilliantly named DEAD SILENCE SYNDICATE. An electro producer with a long string of quality releases and remixes on labels such as Battle Trax, SMB, Fuel, not forgetting the label he co-ran with Keith Tenniswood; CONTROL TOWER.

We're ultra chuffed to have him on board for the next party being a long time friend of the label and aside from his production credits, he happens to be a SUPERB DJ with an unrivalled passion for the real good shit across many genres and a ridiculous record collection overflowing with proper Techno music from the last 25+ years.. And that completes what is now a absolutely bulging line up for Valentines Day @ Don't.

Tickets are available NOW at a mere £7 + bf !! :

For anyone who hasn't experienced Neil Landstrumm live, please, if you get the chance, do.

He's fucking awesome !

Saw him at the legendary Orbit about 2002 and he nailed it. Seemed to be on for ages as well.
