I wouldn't mind a section where you drop the snare for a minute and let the synths shine, it gets a little tiring, maybe a little hat line in there. I feel overall you could break it down a little more, drop synths/parts, different combos, keep it fresh. It's mixed quite nicely though. Quality works. ooo thanks for the feedback. the second one, nofilter, feels pretty finished to me. the first one i'm still unsure on, and definitely appreciate the feedback. I keep jumping back and forth between thinking the mix sucks. it's a bit harsh with the snare... Guest Posted September 12, 2014 Share Posted September 12, 2014 lol i love your titles let's hear: 1. from the first second i feel like dancing the marimba. i dont know the steps, but i'll make it work. i really like that electroid bass thingie. nice sounds coming in and out. soft and mellow phase out. doo doo doadooo (1:08 now) eating a chocolate muffin and coffee. it enhances the atmosphere of exploding vibrations i really like this tune, the fading open hat. that rush at 1:50 deserves a bit more work; now it's too murky liking it, it's building toward something from 02:19 onwards, the synth deserves a bit more workin' make it explode into stars the bass is so good tick a tick a tick aitkc solid percussions; now it rhythmically flows away. agreein with haut here; get that synth some more playing field!! track 2. lol duchovny his face is forming in and out in my mind kinda dark and tender like the reverse sound a-rhytmically challenged maaan i like this a lot takes me away places good sudden drifter soft and warm and supplementary just finished my coffee and muffin a bit before almost choked on the coffee, but made a safe this song is nice and twisty i like how the melody evolves; bits taken away, slowly dying yup it is done Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
