  1. Does anyone know the date of when Richard made the rest of the last batch of Soundcloud uploads downloadable?
  2. I've been listening to all of these (current count 152) tracks for days and I still can't get over how amazing it all is. Since I know RDJ is at least somewhat browsing this forum thread I gotta say: When I was 16 I saw him perform LIVE at Clutch Cargo's in Pontiac, Michigan in 1997 (as headliner of the now defunct Orbit Magazine birthday party) and it was one of the coolest, most life changing events I've ever witnessed. The dancing bears, the fact that the audience never saw his face, the weird old guy shaving his head on stage mid-show and later running around naked at the very end. Shit. It was all unreal. I'm a fan for life and for me the Soundcloud release of all these tracks ranks up there with that night. Cheers.
  3. Thanks SO much for this. This is exactly what a lot of us were looking for. I downloaded it this morning, it perfectly imported into my iTunes with the original order, artwork & comments, and I've been jamming to it all day. I had to log back in tonight to show how much it was appreciated. You da man! Edit: I just noticed you edited your post. Did you originally have these tracks changed to the names on Soundcloud and then later change them back to the file names (since I know some tracks downloaded with file names that were different than what was on Soundcloud)?
  4. Best fucking week ever. In one week RDJ just gave us more than anyone on WATMM would have ever imagined. I think it's ridiculus that some people are posting they're sad it's over or they want more. DUDE, he just gave us over 100 tracks! I think his post on Twitter was confirmation that he's done uploading. This isn't time to be sad it's over or want more. It's time to enjoy all of this amazing music for weeks, months, and years to come. The party isn't over. It just started. Commence braindance (Lol)
  5. man, I cant thank you enough girl boy https://mega.co.nz/#!L9lDGTyb!7q2YIYYAPCulFmN0pF4NeK2j9Qq2EK-rYQZy1-Ha8Gg i hope im not violating, right? if so ill delete the link next second Thanks for uploading this! It seems like this is the one "missing track" that many people are missing. You da man!
  6. Perfect artwork! Lol Damn this has been an awesome week so far. Thank you Richard!
  7. A poor mans Alcofribas review. 1/10 Agreed (now that I actually read it). I guess I'm just trying to kill time and distract myself while desperately waiting to find out if I can get into the damn Chicago listening party! for real, it's like a 23 year old Gawker intern read Alcofribas posts here and thought it would be a fun exercise to rip him off Ironically I looked at it quickly and posted before really reading it the same way many sites probably quickly looked at Aphex's ridiculous new "electronic fartist" bio on Warp and just posted it. Looking at it again some of it is kind of funny... 01. minipops 67 (source field mix): "...It’s basically just a 4-track recording of Richard James plucking the same ukulele note over and over again while an anonymous assistant rubs sandpaper across his greying beard...." 02. XMAS_EVET10 (thanaton3 mix): "...Imagine taking drum & bass, halving it, multiplying it by Flying Lotus, and then adding three-fifths of an ex-Napalm Death member who now dabbles in techno..." 05. 180db_ : "...Comes with a free sticker-book and set of six mauve pencils." 07. fz pseudotimestretch+e+3: "You know that second track on Autechre’s third EP? The one you pretended to like as a student? This is basically its sequel, with a more foreboding subtext of strained aquatic grief." 09. Informer (Radio Mix): "A surprisingly faithful rendition of Canadian reggae star Snow’s 1992 chart smash."
  8. A poor mans Alcofribas review. 1/10 Agreed (now that I actually read it). I guess I'm just trying to kill time and distract myself while desperately waiting to find out if I can get into the damn Chicago listening party!
  9. Unless trolling this could be the first track by track review... http://spinalbap.blogspot.com/2014/09/exclusive-track-by-track-review-of.html
  10. Has anyone received an e-mail for the Chicago event yet?
  11. Desperately hoping for a Chicago post like this!
  12. Excerpts from 20 minute interview The Fader had with RDJ: http://www.thefader.com/2014/08/25/aphex-twin-syro-interview-excerpts
  13. Regarding some of the new fake tracks that some people believe might have been produced by Wisp: I know WATMM members created some of them but if I remember correctly didn't Wisp did once confirm that he produced many of the other fake tracks by The Tuss that appeared across dozens of fake Myspace accounts for The Tuss? http://www.myspace.com/thetussofficial https://myspace.com/thetuskmusic https://myspace.com/1073686 https://myspace.com/briantregaksin https://myspace.com/cat189 https://myspace.com/thetussmusic (and many more) Since many of the accounts listed other fake accounts in their "Myspace top 8" I assumed that was all Wisp stuff and stuff not in the big circle of Top 8's was WATMM members & other randoms, or is it the other way around? I remember back then imagining a conversation between Grant, RDJ and Wisp with them telling him, "If you could go ahead and make like....100 fake tracks for The Tuss that would be great. Thanks."
